Also with regards to who would have some of our 'players', I imagine that there is still a half decent player in there somewhere with most of them, it's just the current club set up and ego clashes has consumed them and that's more important to them than SUFC which is why they need dumping post haste.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the culprits move on and suddenly start being more successful in a different environment, which will be even more of a kick in the teeth from these wasters but nevertheless almost inevitable

So much of the poor performance has been across the team rather than necessarily one or two stand out disasters- basically we failed to assemble a squad where the team was greater than the sum of the individual parts- indeed the precise opposite. Basically we have the perfect storm of a bunch of good to OK players, underperforming, and who don't come together to create a team that fits well together/the players compliment each other.

Some of this is self inflicted to the point of stupidity- e.g. a squad where we added yet more CMs when we really only had one wide player. And where we really only had one LB.

I think we can very much expect a LB and probably a couple of wide players. And a ball winning/aggressive CM (all be it one or two would have to go). An experienced dominant CB would also be very helpful. That would be 5.

Forwards are not an issue- and frankly sorting the winger situation would see more service and more goals.

Wouldn't hold my breath for any exciting signings unless we manage to get a very good price for Elvis as it seems there is definitely big money problems at the Hall. A lot of staff haven't been paid for December, this includes at least some of the youth setup and matchday workers.

Wouldn't hold my breath for any exciting signings unless we manage to get a very good price for Elvis as it seems there is definitely big money problems at the Hall. A lot of staff haven't been paid for December, this includes at least some of the youth setup and matchday workers.

Hardly surprising: we've had 3 home games in 2 months. The Gillingham game being called off is a massive blow to Ron as it'll be 4 home games in 3 months by the end of January. Instead of 6000 on a Saturday it'll be 4500 on a Tuesday.

I hope the youth and matchday workers get paid soon though as they are probably the ones closest to the breadline.

Only young recruits need apply either from within the ranks to gain experience or from Div 2 or the Conference. No one old, crocked, final pay day johnnies - we don't need them as we are going down anyway. Rebuild with youth. Sorted

Formerly at Gills, Tottenham and Cambridge so has spent most of his young career in the area before being tempted to join Macclesfield by Sol. Is out of contract at the end of the season.

Cash flow problems due to lack of home games in last few weeks?. Probably not helped by zero sales of 1/2 season ticket sales, ( if anyone's purchased one i'd be surprised! ).
Ironically 9 out of our last 14 games are at home ( i think? ).
We havn't got a pot to p**s in, so if this is true re unpaid staff, then i fail to see how we can afford to sign the much needed players we require?.

You're missing a trick It's the Guárdia Urbana in Barcelona.The Guárdia Civil are the national lot.Not exactly flavour of the month with the Catalan Independence movement.
