Seriously. An unamed Arab tycoon, taking us over. Wiping out around £6m-7m+ of debt. Financing a £50m+ stadium project and giving Tilly £3m+ to spend on players alone, in January.

Again this is only a guess but I would say he is owed at least 3-4 mill the tax man 700k and various other debtors the remainder.

When Ron came along we owed £8million, we sold the ground to Delancy for £4million and were still £4million in the red.

I've heard an odd rumour of a £5 buyout with all debts cleared, Stadium go-ahead and a multi million pound transfer kitty. Anyone heard anything similar?

Just heard from the same source that I'm to be offered the Manager's job (about time, have applied so many times) after the takeover.
First thing will be to reduce the first team squad. Secondly, I'm gonna have all the players play in the wrong position, so they are all in the same boat. I will re-register Garner and Best to play up front and drop Barney, as he's already had a couple of shots saved this season, and missed a penalty. I will bring in Ken Dodd as my left-hand man to put a smile back on the players faces.
Cheerio for now, can't talk all night, as I have to get to the ATM to withdraw a fiver.

Nope, personally heard nothing about any contact between RM and the Trust or indeed any statement being made. When and if the Trust are in a position to make a statement then I'm sure one will be forthcoming.

It's Lakshmi Mittal obviously. A QPR Shareholder, who is getting bored in the background and wants a serious piece of this "real life champ man" action maybe.

He's the steel don (maybe a good friend of Ron's?) so as we are going to need a fair bit of that to build the new stadium and associated buildings, it must be him.

While he is supplying us the steel (at a fraction of the market cost of course) He is also providing us with a chunk of his £19bn fortune to wipe the debts, fund the development and purchase the best players possible in League One.

It all makes perfect sense now.

For people that didn't hear BBC Essex - I think when people say "it was mentioned on BBC Essex" they mean they were reading out texts from people after the game and a few of them had similar rumours to stuff put on here - though they made a point of saying they couldn't substantiate any of them
