That Brentford striker....absolute worldy.....After this can we have best away goal scored at Roots Hall? Sometimes you can do nothing except applaud.

That's the one.Junior Agogo, a striker we chased numerous times.

Oops! The clues in the title of the thread...
I was actually at the latter. Also the game of the Andy Sussex wonder strike. On that list it's the 4-0 victory over Newcastle.
There's also the 2-1 victory over Luton to avoid relegation.
Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham were better than Gary Moore.Has to be combination of 9-0 v Kings Lynn followed by 10-1 v Brentwood as it was the same competition and they were close together in time. We talk about the good strikers we have had but we rarely had a good duo and Billy Best and Gary Moore were just that
I heard he wanted to strengthen the club , but jobbo said noBeating Ronaldo and Rooney is by far the best day ever, but going top of what is the Championship now, News Year Day 92 is the best game seen at the Hall a shame it all fell apart after that game because Webb wanted out.
Derek Bellotti dislocated shoulder iirc , spud and Garner had spells between the sticks. Had a dislike of Cambridge ever sinceOne that should definitely be here, April 1972 , we thrash Cambridge to clinch our first ever promotion in front of 18,000 delirious fans at Roots Hall!
Yeah, I know, we lost 2-1 due to a catalogue of misfortunes on the night. I'm still not over it 52 years on
@Firestorm Taylor definitely went in goal that night. He was the substitute. So he just went straight in, with seemingly no thought to his diminutive stature.Derek Bellotti dislocated shoulder iirc , spud and Garner had spells between the sticks. Had a dislike of Cambridge ever since

As I recall, Garner was the designated stand in keeper but the crowd reaction when he took the jersey was so negative that Spud went in goal. It looked like a good call when Garner put us ahead but after 2 Cambridge goals, due in some part to Spud's height, Alex Smith went in goal while Spud went back on the wing in an attempt to save the game.@Firestorm Taylor definitely went in goal that night. But they changed that at halftime(?) and I'm pretty sure it was Dennis Booth who swapped and not Bill Garner?

It might have been both of them . Garner certainly went in goal. It wasn’t at half time … it was 0-0 at half time and Bill put us 1-0 up. I think he went in after Cambridge equalised and maybe changed again after their second.
