I thought the game v Gillingham on 3-5-72 ended 2-2?.
ahh yes you have a point there.........The Chelsea game at The Bridge agreed was fantastic - but not a Roots Hall memory!
Edited for accuracy.Toss up between the Newcastle and orient in the LDV thingy.
Went for orient game, 1st time getting to a Wembley final, I'd dreamt of seeing us play at Wembley my entire life....I cried, there I said it.
Steve Wignall was playing for Aldershot as well! lolI always think of the Aldershot 10-1 very fondly as a) there weren't many (1,281) of us in attendance b) we forget how good that team was & c) we got a decade or so of singing "You're so sh!t you must be Aldershot!". Happy days.
Appreciate you can't have every game though.
If Alex Revell had buried an open goal might have been a different story!Superb first half. Crumbled second half
The clues in the title of the thread...How about Wycombe Play Off Final?
Over the years that attendance must’ve quadrupledI always think of the Aldershot 10-1 very fondly as a) there weren't many (1,281) of us in attendance b) we forget how good that team was & c) we got a decade or so of singing "You're so sh!t you must be Aldershot!". Happy days.

Shout for that Yeovil game. Pure class. Part of the record breaking eight wins on the spin. The Forest home win on that run was special too and there was a streakerNot sure how Chesterfield last season gets in the list....loads of games over the years would top that one by far for me. Off top of my head thumping Col U in League 1 under PB. 4-1 Yeovil game under T&B. Barnard hatrick Vs Orient. Prob tons more too

Club record gate on a snowy evening, holding the prevailing League One and Europa Cup winners to a deserved draw. Maybe not the best of football games but what a fantastic occasion!
