Toss up between the Newcastle and orient in the LDV thingy.
Went for orient game, 1st time getting to a Wembley final, I'd dreamt of seeing us play at Wembley my entire life....I cried, there I said it.
Edited for accuracy.

First time we played at Wembley was in 1930, when Clapton Orient, as they were known then, were "lodging" while building work was taking place at their ground in the Lea Bridge Rd.

We lost 3-1

Not sure how Chesterfield last season gets in the list....loads of games over the years would top that one by far for me. Off top of my head thumping Col U in League 1 under PB. 4-1 Yeovil game under T&B. Barnard hatrick Vs Orient. Prob tons more too

Thumping Oldham, days after fans helping to get the stadium clean enough to play. Wild celebrations and a feeling of disbelief.

Chris Powell's return, this time as manager, wild night under those beautiful lights, i think we beat them, but definetly Scunthorpe who were high flyers at the time. I got footage on my phone from West stand going bananas after a goal, spine tingling.

I always think of the Aldershot 10-1 very fondly as a) there weren't many (1,281) of us in attendance b) we forget how good that team was & c) we got a decade or so of singing "You're so sh!t you must be Aldershot!".😁 Happy days.

Appreciate you can't have every game though. 😊
Over the years that attendance must’ve quadrupled 😀

Shout for that Yeovil game. Pure class. Part of the record breaking eight wins on the spin. The Forest home win on that run was special too and there was a streaker

That Newcastle game, the highest league position ever occupied by any SUFC team ever. Top of the 2nd tier of english football. That team coupled with the barry fry team a bit later had us so close to top flight football. I have zero doubt if fry had stayed we would have been in the prem.

The amount of people that don’t seem to understand the concept of this thread baffles me.

Iconic matches at Roots Hall. Can I go play off final at Wembley, play off final at the Millennium Stadium, 1-1 at Stamford Bridge and the 3-0 at Layer Road where Che Wilson scored please.

Club record gate on a snowy evening, holding the prevailing League One and Europ…ean… Cup winners to a deserved draw. Maybe not the best of football games but what a fantastic occasion!

@kaymac They were European Champions. They won The European Cup. Not some Mickey Mouse 'Second Division Trophy' for those who weren't quiet good enough for the real thing!!!
