As you know as well as I do that RM is a property developer with an eye of making a small fortune off developments like this.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the whole point of this forum to provide a place where supporters can debate certain aspects of the club? I expressed my opinions that people were coming down hard on the chairman when his hands are tied. If this is the response I get and being ridiculed for taking an opinion that is different from one of the owners, then I don't think it's a forum I'd like to be a part of anymore.

But we have been getting crowds like that this season (and in the past).

Take away the away support this season, rough estimate Leeds- Norwich- Colchester- 2,000 fans, Millwall- Southampton- Orient- 1500 fans, Gillingham- Huddersfield- 1000 fans, plus the other clubs who have brought less numbers and we are below 7,000 locals turning up.

Totally agree mate, a nightmare scenario which at this current moment i hav'nt a clue what state we will start next season in.

I completely agree. Shrimperzone is usually a bad place to be around after a defeat but some of the posts here have been nothing short of pathetic.

But ESB does have aka Ron Martin in his username id.I imagine that would be the reason for(some of) the sarcasm.BTW I had no idea that McNastly was one of the site owners when I wrote my own comment.

We will almost certainly be missing Barney, from the end of Jan if you ask me, which will be a massive loss. However, other players out of contract in the summer are Walker, Freedman, Sankofa, Scannell, Joyce, Herd, Moussa. I would expect only 2 or 3 to be offered new deals and would expect them to sign - the rest can be cleared out and wages saved for new players.

Next season may be easier, even on the current budget.

Accept other people on the Board (eg the Consortium)who are willing to invest in the club,or sell out to them.Or alternatively(as I suggested before)spend some of the money earmarked for FF investment on players now.

Er, hasn't RM done this with the Supporters Trust, who are going to get a place on the football board for £60,000.

I also don't understand why people are so sceptical of RM, yet so trusting of others. If nothing else surely you'd be once bitten, twice shy.

Spending money earmarked for Fossetts on new players is madness. Don't you realise that is what got us into this mess in the first place? It beggars belief that people think spending your way out of trouble is the way to go.

he got a good reception and gave us a clap. He looked very solid but was mugged a bit for spencers goal. However he showed that we lost the wrong CB in the summer
