Once the New ground is built we can spend that money on players and not waste it on a stadium not fit for 21 century.

If he he spent cash fixing Roots Hall up our time would have been up probably sometime in Covid. As it is poor maintenance has probably allowed him to pay wages when otherwise he might have not had the cash.

HMRC want their money. So if it is coming through, but late, but SUFC can prove it will be happening, then normally they would grant another adjournment, despite them saying before it's last chance. They're not stupid. They want their money, and they don't really want to wind up a cash cow. Even though it's an always late paying cash cow.
