That would really put the icing on the cake.Only just. We’d be 20th and only above 21st-placed Torquay on goal difference.
I doubt a small pony digger company has millions at there disposal to lend. Think someone may have been on the beer's again.
Knew you would reply swiftly, that knuckle dragging thug @Smiffy does sod all around these partsIt’s an idea, but for now I’d suggest it’s better to keep them as individual threads because I’d expect the HMRC discussion to stay busy with traffic in the coming weeks & we need to keep the discussions around the supporters group separate to ensure the posts don’t get lost in what’s sure to be another few hundred pages of HMRC talk.
You might need that on 1st March mate. Think I may need drink on that day regardless what happens.Unfortunately I can’t blame the beer as I’ve run out, but do have a bottle of Jack Daniel’s in reserve!
Wonderful, cheers for the info. That's Southend united saved, fans got nothing to worry about. At least one of their companies has got £5m in assets. I suspect they're multi millionaires
I think you've misunderstood - my speculation was for PG Site Services owners to be potential future owners of SUFC, post stadium build etc - not bailing out Ron now - although I suspect they have the collateral to borrow sufficient, it would be risking most of what they have so pretty barmy thing to do.Wonderful, cheers for the info. My understanding is that we owe HMRC just over 1m, maybe the balance from the £5m loan is to pay for wages, a roof in the West Stand bar, Martin Dawns own tax bill etc.So i have listened to the BBC chat wit rob and carl Now i keep reading the club has got to raise 5 millon by march the 1st .But now im hearing the amount to pat he HRMS is 1.5 millon so what is the true amount Ron has to find .
Yes, I think the loan will be for group companies. Martin Dawn have their own winding up order mid Feb so that is an interesting check point (no idea how much they owe).My understanding is that we owe HMRC just over 1m, maybe the balance from the £5m loan is to pay for wages, a roof in the West Stand bar, Martin Dawns own tax bill etc.
I don't want to fuel speculation, but what if the MD group companies owe a fair chunk of money?Yes, I think the loan will be for group companies. Martin Dawn have their own winding up order mid Feb so that is an interesting check point (no idea how much they owe).

My understanding is the HMRC money owed is around 1.5 million but the loan is for 5 million. I believe the 3.5 million difference is to somewhat pay wages and keep the club afloat until the next stage of the Fossetts build which involves Boots & Laces which then means further funds get released from the build. Why we need as much as a extra 3.5 million is a question I'd love to know the answer too, but of course Ron doesn't like transparency. So i have listened to the BBC chat wit rob and carl Now i keep reading the club has got to raise 5 millon by march the 1st .But now im hearing the amount to pat he HRMS is 1.5 millon so what is the true amount Ron has to find .
Where did you hear that?Presumably if we don’t hear today that the players and football department staff have been paid, we’ll be getting a 12 point deduction?
