That's actually a very good statement which addresses a number of key points, it's a pity the clubs hierarchy cannot do the same........

No one has faith in him but I can tell you now there is no way he is going to slip now at the very final hurdle. Have asked you repeatedly what your protests are going to achieve but as usual you divert away from it every single time.

Are you 100% confident in that? We’ll see in less than 5 weeks time.

Protests attract media attention and who knows who might be watching, listening or reading at the time to our plight and could end up coming forward and save the club.

Unfortunately you’ve hit the nail on the head.

Some fans on here just don’t want to believe what they hear. They are so blinkered into believing that their Uncle Ron will finally deliver what he says and won’t believe anything they read to the contrary.

Whatever I post on here comes from people I trust and believe, otherwise I wouldn’t post it. I’ve worked in my industry for a very long time and built up very good relationships with these people and if they tell me something I will believe them as they have never let me down before with information they have told me in the past so wouldn’t imagine them to now.

If certain people don’t want to believe me and and start posting embarrassing comments like accusing certain fans of wanting Ron to fail and then the club goes under and we are left without a club anymore then I find this quite bizarre as I thought this was an open forum where fans can discuss their views, unless I’m mistaken?

Ive never wanted the club to fail. I’ve supported the club for over 40 plus years and would be absolutely heartbroken to see it gone but like it or not the hard truth is there is no future under Ron Martin.

Don’t give in mate your views are just as valuable as anybody else’s, I been fighting this argument that you put for years now till I’m blue in the face

What i dont get is that over a week ago Ron had a letter about a bridging loan which saved us from going bust. So 8 days later nothing has happened. Why is it taking this long to clear?

Linda you are a loan shark can’t you help Ron? Then again I guess you would expect the money back

I put my hand up and apologise, I am just frustrated much as all of us do, with the situations we are at the moment. I am trying to be positive and not to think of any terrifying events of our club in worst possible way.

I don't understand why some fans mock fans who want to be proactive ie protest to force change of ownership..... Southend are in pretty dire position all down to ron poor running of the club. So if the likes of the SOS want do things differently compared to the average going fan then what is the problem?

What I don't understand about Ron is why he is so money driven given his age, he hardly getting any younger. 70 year old man wanting to become the next sheikh mansour of the national league. I get he wants a return on his investment but why make everyone suffer along the way. Take the easy option out, sell slice of your pie to attract investers which will save the club and put these constant off field issues to bed. All I want as a fan is to talk about the football and how crap are left back is, with bit of hope of brighter future instead of this constant off field crap.

With Ron it’s all about his ego and in his mind it’s a mess he created so it MUST be him to clear it up! He’s all about profile he wants to create a legacy but in his ****ed up mind it’s gambling the clubs future.
I don’t even care anymore if he don’t sell but at least let outside investment in to steady the ship for ****s sake!

This 100%. Division in the fanbase plays right into RM's hands. I support the protesters and I also understand those who wish for a quiet revolution rather than a loud one.
