Well there's something that shocked no one other than the trust.

You think it shocked the Trust? I am sure they knew this was on the cards.Well there's something that shocked no one other than the trust.
Yeh I reckon so. If not they would come out and publicly say they will be activating their well thought out penalty clauses. You think it shocked the Trust? I am sure they knew this was on the cards.
Unless you mean MPs will use their connections to convince a money lender to give us a loan I can't see them coming to our rescue, I know this government isn't great with money but I can't imagine they'd agree to use public funds to bail us out.I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some money arranged by the two MPs/the council.
Not your average person gets 2 MPs involved in a court case… Even if the venue was next to parliament and an easy 10 minute de-tour.
They and the councillors know how much extra funding will come from these new builds via council tax etc.
Yes I do want Ron gone, but only as long as the club survives. What part of we have no future under that man do you not grasp? He can’t even afford to file his company accounts for christ sake. His only hope and final chance to save the club was to build FF which as I said from what I’ve been told isn’t going to happen now under his ownership. The way it comes across is that you are so desperate for Ron to go you would quite happily see everything around him (including the club) collapse just so he is no longer part of it. That is what people are saying to you. Actions have consequences and if Ron was to decide to just go 'do you know what Blue43 really doesnt want me here so I am gonna go' then there will be literally no club left anyway. Some of the other laughable comments are people thinking that a protest is going to change that in any way whatsoever and saying 'well Scunthorpe achieved it'. That protest had no effect on the sale of Scunthorpe and their situation was/is very different to ours. What is the protest here going to achieve? Everyone already knows Ron has no money so its hardly shining a light on something that has been common knowledge for years now. He has even discussed this on TalkSport etc. As I have commented before you have a number of high profile journalists at places like The Athletic why dont you push for them to do articles on the club rather than a protest that will get no additional attention to people who dont already know the situation and will simply end in bans for fans etc meaning they will miss the good years when we have a new stadium and potentially new owners etc.
I think they said it was an Indication of Terms, which is normally more like a quote rather than an actual offer of credit. ie if you was applying for a mortgage you could easily obtain quotes from various lenders of how much the mortgage from them would be, but that doesn't mean they've actually agreed to lend you the moneyWhat i dont get is that over a week ago Ron had a letter about a bridging loan which saved us from going bust. So 8 days later nothing has happened. Why is it taking this long to clear?
Bless little Dan Bowen for singling me out like that, didn’t know you cared so muchBlue43 lol
You sound like someone who is rooting for Southend Utd to be closed down, so you can walk in Southend high street with a smile like a Cheshire Cat and say “Told you so”.Yeh I reckon so. If not they would come out and publicly say they will be activating their well thought out penalty clauses.
No one has faith in him but I can tell you now there is no way he is going to slip now at the very final hurdle. Have asked you repeatedly what your protests are going to achieve but as usual you divert away from it every single time.Yes I do want Ron gone, but only as long as the club survives. The guy is broke. We are less than 5 weeks of potentially going out of business and you mock people for protesting. No other club would sit back and watch their club die like some of our fans have done just because they believe it’s a waste of time.
How many times has Ron lied yet you still have faith in him that he will deliver what he promises? It truly truly astonishes me.
If he can't find the funds, it's not going to be his choice whether he slips or not. The rug will be pulled from underneath him.No one has faith in him but I can tell you now there is no way he is going to slip now at the very final hurdle. Have asked you repeatedly what your protests are going to achieve but as usual you divert away from it every single time.
It's likely they want something as part of the terms that Ron is refusing to give upWhat i dont get is that over a week ago Ron had a letter about a bridging loan which saved us from going bust. So 8 days later nothing has happened. Why is it taking this long to clear?
The only way to get rid of rm is protests.
no i dont think so .Were PG Site Services involved?

Thing is mate comments may be depressing but the reality of the situation is we are in a depressing situation, all the positive comments are not going to change that, or the negative ones for that matter. Only action changes things100% agree however it should be balanced at times and not always negative. There are so many rumours going around at the moment that it is stressful for alot of people and coming on and reading the same negative posts by the same posters every can be draining and depressing. We are in a **** situation but, and this goes to the viewers who need to see some optimism, there are options available to us:
1) bridging loan
2) sale of club. Just because its not going to Carl doesnt mean Ron isnt discussing something with other parties.
3) very unlikely but we could get an extension - for the record this is a hugely dangerous risk if Ron goes down this route and he would need some extremely good reasons when in court.
4) could the funds be released sooner for the next phase.
I will admit I am more concerned as the days go by about the future of the club but I still cant see us being liquidated on 1st March at this moment in time. If it comes to a week before and there is nothing sorted I think Ron will accept some form of help as otherwise he will be left with nothing.
I’m not talking about you mate! I’m just using that quote as a generalisation for everybodyDid i say you or anyone have not got a voice .All i said was i myself can not see shouting the odds and stamping you feet will have any impact on the out come in the coming days .
