I heard the same, that no one has handed in their notice, but a written default notice as a warning. That doesn't mean to say they won't hand in their notice, especially those that were expecting to be more involved with the first team, and the more highly rated that could go to another club and get a better deal, and get paid on time. Some agents will be bending their ear, as they will profit out of that as well.My understanding is that no player has handed in their notice, what they have done is sent in written default notices to the club.
No one actually wants to leave, what they want is to be paid for doing their jobs, this action creates a paper trail that can lead to cancelling a contract.
I did find that odd that the turnstiles were working yesterday.Programmes and working turnstiles yesterday. Make of that what you will fellow news hungry speculation whore shrimpers
The ones we went through in the West weren’t at about 2:50 - showed our season cards and the steward waved us through!I did find that odd that the turnstiles were working yesterday.

I haven't checked any legal websites to be honest. What I posted was a direct lift of the regulation itself. The way it is worded is indeed open to interpretation. Part of the problem, probably. Nowhere in the wording of the regulation does it say "if a club is more than 2 months late with a salary payment" or "it has to be in consecutive months". If that's what it means then there are loopholes there because that's not what it says.
With that being said, I think Bolton players might have handed in their notices once it got to 2 months late on salaries.
However I'd say this is much more likely to be an accurate representation of the situation!

This youngster really gave this old fellow a real buzz. Well done whoever you are.Nothing new to reveal/learn in this video but credit to the young man who made it.
Noticed that, was wondering if they've come up with a solution?Did anyone notice Tom out on the pitch at half time yesterday smiling and joking with the main sponsors.
He didn't look like a man who was about to see this club wound up nor did the main sponsors he was laughing and joking with..

I'm probably being wildly optimistic and way off, but it occurred to me they were taking photos that would look good on some kind of announcement...Did anyone notice Tom out on the pitch at half time yesterday smiling and joking with the main sponsors.

One hypothetical optimistic outcome could be that administration could buy time for the bridging loans / planning to be completed, taking the element of risk of winding up out of the courts hands during the moratorium period, and leaving all creditors in a position where they may be paid in full.I did look yesterday at the list of clubs that had gone into administration. It really is a lengthy litany of shame. I counted I think 5 premiership teams and my nephews team Dundee has been in administration twice. Truly a disgusting way of debt avoidance. Hopefully we won't go down that road.
How would it not be correct if every single creditor got paid, but also kept a community asset afloat?Administration is never in my view morally correct.
Edited for accuracy.Ron Martin, is never, in anyone’s view, morally correct.
I found it more concerning that they weren't selling tickets (again) from the Shakespeare Drive ticket office. Apparently system issues have not been fixed.Programmes and working turnstiles yesterday. Make of that what you will fellow news hungry speculation whore shrimpers
