I think you’ve just strengthened the other poster’s point mate. You told your sister “you thought” your dad’s house sale would complete in Feb. Ron didn’t say he “thought” the bridging loan “might” be in place in weeks. As always when he shoots his load early .. he seemed pretty sure. Either the loan’s in place or .. well he’s given us false hope. And as someone else said, if the loan’s in place giving it the biggun to the players isn’t the best idea. Unless there’s more to it ..
No not really. You still need to show that Ron knew his statement was false when he made it.

Anyhows I think this part has run its course. My point was the OP presented a lost of facts of which only 1 (2 if you include lied about weeks not months) were facts, the rest were opinions.

I won't respond to any more responses on this as I think subsequent posts have revealed potentially more important info.

This is the same report I had. No money until March and still working it out. General view was that Ron seemed much more down and unsure than he had last time they saw him, despite cracking crass jokes and making glib comments.

1 March is of course and always has been the watershed.

I've heard elsewhere that the money has been secured, but what I can't understand is if that is the case then why upset your main assets in this way.

I'm not worried unduly by the payment and 1 March but whatever happens after the 1 March it is then the time to ramp up the protests. Once we lose the players we can kiss goodnight to any hopes of going up.
If think the hopes of going up are gone. We shouldn't be worried about that anymore. Gloves off now

If only we were owned by a gambler who wanted to own a club and build a stadium on the outskirt of the city... (Brighton)

And if only that gambler guy who now owns Brighton hired a guy who was really good at statistics, and that guy he hired went on to be successful in the gambling field and also wanted to own a club and build a stadium... (Brentford)

Damn, it's almost as if we need an owner who gambles a **** ton and wants to build a stadium on the outskirts of the city!

Tony Bloom was a very successful poker player ... slightly different to gambling!

True but if we’re to stop fulfilling fixtures it’s NLS very quickly. Maybe we don’t care. I still think March 1 is the key date- see what happens and go from there.
One thing for sure no club = no development and that needs to be crystal clear to SBC, MPs, the Dellals et al.

Players have now been told by Ron they won't be paid until after 1 march earliest and he still needs to arrange some money to even do that. It's a different message to what he told them 2 weeks ago. Obviously their unhappy and heads have gone down.
He's told them he's always been successful against hmrc so he feels he can be again.
He also glibly advised them that should any take legal action he would of course win!!!
I understand transfer requests can now be sent in.
Lapota is injured and unsurprisingly so is hyde. No date for a scan for a Lapota for obvious reasons but doesn't sound a quick thing.
Collin and steeeeve are still only training with no minutes so don't expect to see either to soon.
I wish I had better news to offer.
If we let in the first goal it will take monumental character to draw or win. If we grab the first, there's a chance.
Come on you blues
**** me.

What an utter parasite of a man.

I think if the players downed tools it would weaken their legal position as they would then equally be breaching their contracts
I would say that the contract was breached 6 weeks ago by Ron. I can only go on my own experience when this happened to me 25 years ago. When I took advice I was told I was free to do whatever as tgd employee had breached the contract first. Plus it would be hard to define what downing tools would mean, we've had plenty over the years that appeared to do that!

I imagine so, but unbelievable position given how Martin has behaved.

No win situation but I want that man shown up to the world.

Martin needs to be shown up. That’s all that matters. He’s ruined us already, if it didn’t impact the players contracts and rights to their money then ask them to do it. Football feels utterly immaterial currently as CP tweeted recently.

Enough is enough.
I think if Martin was worried about being 'shown up' I don't think things would have got this far. He appears to be focussed on one thing and one thing only
