I thought this is all getting dismissed today as Ron has paid up using he's bridging loan. Ron did say that didn't he?

From ShrimpersTrust, as of last Friday Ron is pushing for an adjournment. No reason given, but surmise either the loan hasnt materialised - or isnt enough to cover what we owe.

Feeling is HMRC will still get what they want at some point, so wont push for admin/liquidation and will probably swallow another 56 day delay.

Did he ever say it would be paid today or settled today? If you want to play semantics it could be argued that they are two completely different things.

That would be correct. Despite Ron saying it was weeks away on October 1st, the loan still hasn't arrived.

If the Echo thought there was a story to report they would be in attendance.Any sniff of a story the press will be looking to print after all it sells newspapers

The last update from Tom (Ron) on NYE was this. No timeframe mentioned of when it would be dismissed:

We speak regularly to HMRC, to keep them updated as to the progression of our financial recovery. We will use some of the bridging finance to pay off the HMRC debt. This will result in the winding up petition being dismissed.

Good to know. Would be nice for Ronald to tell us that himself. As discussed multiple times he doesn’t want a loan really he wants to eek our club through until he releases funds not paying anyone at all in the process.

The top level of brinkmanship. Got some small salty balls that one.

Again semantics. Regularly is so woolly. It can mean as little as once a year.

Yes because if he did everyone would believe him wouldn't they.
