Just want their money reallyamazing, HMRC firstly accept that the loan ''WOULD'' come, now they are happy it will ''LIKELY' come
Unbelievable to be honest.
Not their call to make. If the judge is satisifed then not much they can do.amazing, HMRC firstly accept that the loan ''WOULD'' come, now they are happy it will ''LIKELY' come

The £5m number is the eye opener. That kind of sum would clearly represent that long mentioned "recapitalisation" of the club beyond just paying HMRC, outstanding sums and keeping us going for 2-3 months.42 day adjournment granted. The judge has accepted that a loan of around £5m is likely to arrive at the club between now and the 1st of March. The next hearing has been marked "final".
£1.2m was rumouredHow much do we actually owe HMRC?
I heard £1.4 but then it is growing..£1.2m was rumoured
If it isn't in place, SUFC is gone completely. Won't even make it to the end of the transfer window. So if the bridging loan doesn’t arrive by 1 March, we’re ****ed. If it doesn’t go to plan we can look forward to an end of transfer window fire sale and Ron liquidating every asset he can get his hands on. Never a dull day eh.
Not if we already owe £4.75m in unpaid tax and wages, which wouldn’t surprise me..The £5m number is the eye opener. That kind of sum would clearly represent that long mentioned "recapitalisation" of the club beyond just paying HMRC, outstanding sums and keeping us going for 2-3 months.
This is the important question really. One wonders if a smaller loan would not have been easier and quicker. I suspect its a case of he can't risk not borrowing enough and a repeat. So he's borrowing sufficient to ensure the club is funded longer term. In a way thats good- but certainly some clear assurance of how we ensure staff are paid in the short term (i.e. Jan pay cheque). The monies would arrive for the March payment?Begs the question why can’t we have the loan now pay the staff and settle the bill
