You don't know that is true. He may have been offered the same or more than he was on by us but he would rather be playing at a higher level and Stevenage are in the position to offer him that at the moment and they may have also beaten our contract offer for him.
 
Shame to lose him for nothing. Lots of players out, none in so far...

Hope PS has got a few summer specials up his sleeve!
 
No panic its only just in June. Im sure next week will see the start of more moving and shaking. Expect a few more out of contract players to go (Barker, Gilbert).

There are LOADS of good free transfers out there, no need to rush in at the mo.

They're in a higher league and missed out on promotion last year. It's a step forward in his career.

Gutted to lose him, big task to build a squad this year.
 
F*** it basically. I don't think it's any surprise that our form picked up at the end of the season once Granty got back in the team.

I'd have given him a 2 year contract and made him captain.
 
So who's our longest serving player now? Kane Ferdinand? In terms of signed on professionals is there anyone pre-Sturrock?

In terms of players who have actually played league games, Bentley and Woodyard joined in July 09
