Neil Young at the O2. First half fantastic second half preachy and long solos over about 3 chords. All it made me do was look up the share price of Monsanto.
He's still great though and no "whoops" from the crowd during Needle and the Damage Done was a bonus.

Yeah was there too - better than watching England :winking: - some people around me were disappointed with the `heavy` stuff - but it was a tour to promote the new album - what did they expect singalong Neil - he does not do that.

Off to see him here at the Pueblo Espanyol next Monday.

Going to see Wolf Parade at Scala tonight. Probably my favourite band of the last 20 years and I've never seen them before. Cannot wait...

Saw him at the RFH in That Lucky old Sun tour in 2007.

(Also seen him 3 times in Barna over the last ten years or so).

Ps See there are only standing tickets left for that Cliffs gig now.Still tempting!

Tonight......Coldplay at Wembley. It was free, it was colourful, and I kept looking at one spot and thinking of Joe Piggott.

Yesterday - Connan Mockasin at Royal Festival Hall. Finished stupid early at 10pm, my friend made us arrive at 9.30pm and saw two amazing tracks lasting 15 mins each.

I went Tuesday. It was totally ace, although they said that Spencer had flown in from the most Westerly point of North America that day, and he looked like he was feeling it. Regardless of that, it was everything I wanted it to be and they played almost all of my faves. How was Weds?

off to see Heart tonight at the royal albert hall with mrs enfieldblue. meeting up with some mates from the old planet rock forum.

Kings of the Wild Frontier played from start to finish plus old B-sides, Dirk era stuff and a couple of solo singles at Brixton Academy. Glorious. Real feeling of it being an event and being part of a tribe. Ant Music is our banner.
