Bailey was one hell of a player and a shame he was only with us for one season. He and McCormack Cm used to kick the sh*t out of the opposition! However the way he left burnt many bridges!
 
Waste of time, no way he will come back to us. Been released by a Championship side on good wages i would imagine, no way we could afford him, plus the amount of abuse people gave him especially at Charlton would probably suggest he wouldnt come near the place. Agree though that he would be a great signing.
 
Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but Aaron Webster has been released by Burton. He's a left back and looks like he could do a job at this level.
 
Simon "Jedward" Ferry has been released by Swindon. Although he was a sub against us, he always looked a decent player for them! Compulsory hair cut if he came here though!!
 
Gutts would be a much cheaper signing than Bailey, so on that basis alone he'd be worth considering! Craig Easton though, as said elsewhere, has also been released. So that's 3 good CMs out there.

100% agree with this, would hate to lose Clohessy, but leonard is very underated. Bare in mind he came to us as a right back and has played most of his games in midfield, he would be a more than adequate replacement. Especially under PB he has played well. Major dissapointment was that he should have been on the pitch at Wembley and he deserved the right to be there, but you cant turn the clock back.
