Free agents this summer

True and we dont know who is staying yet. Timlin, Clohessy, Prosser, Tomlin could all leave. We may get a bid for Straker that is too hard to resist. Of course, we may also be under an embargo for a while too which could hinder Brown.

some of their tweets look quite realistic to be honest, maybe some southend one's are a bit too 'optimistic' for us but it looks okay, not too sure though

It looks like they just take it from other websites, so it would be down to how reliable the website they got it from is.

Some of them are just rubbish and possibly been recycled from here.

A Borient supporting relative said that we've been linked with a couple of their players. Lee Cooke was one name mentioned, but he sounds like a bit of a big time Charlie. That said a couple of our players have been linked too, which probably means this is all paper talk. Who knows!

Echo today also mentioned Josh Rees. Under contract at Arsenal but expected to leave in the summer. Brentford and Hearts apparently interested but he's a local lad and said he would certainly consider joining us. Mate told me he's likely to sign for Brentford if they don't go up as he's looking for regular football, but if they do go up that we may have a chance of signing him... Here's hoping

Really can't see Tam signing for a L2 club, so the idea of Fleetwood (really?!) or us seems very dubious.

Didn't Mohsni do some boxing with a Pompey fan when he was at Southend ?

He was on loan at Brentford's development towards the end of this season.

Would have thought there would be some interest from league 1. If it is a straight fight between us and Fleetwood, then we have a location advantage and they could have the wage advantage.

Lee Cook has already said he has ambitions to play Championship football next season.

Hearing from a few different people that we are after Craig Fagan & Danny Mayor, who signed on a short loan earlier in the season..

Hardly surprising, both have worked with Brown before. Think Fagan would be a good signing though wages surely an issue, ditto Mayor who looked good in spurts last season.
