Foran To Aberdeen...

ok simple question... harrold or foran?

Neither! I saw Foran have one good game, that was his 1st appearance when he came on at Stoke, I think I saw Harrold have one good game also - the one where he had his bloody nose.

Both ran loads, Foran probably did have a couple of half decent games (I think against Daggers he was ok), but strikers that can't score? It's a no brainer really, it's their main purpose. Foran's lack of self control was another factor - what is it with us that we attract these sort of guys?!

but as already stated although i personally would prefer to see him upfront and hopefully i will next season but for aberdeen, he was brought in to southend as a wideman and thats we he played! bit unfair on him to say he couldnt score!

but he certainly wasnt good for team morale!

Glasgow SUFC (Rich) turns slowly purple when this subject comes up, he is adamant that at M'well he was always a winger

That maybe true but at Carlisle he was their striker scoring 14 goals in a struggling team was good going for a season's haul.

Richie Foran was brought across by Roddy during his first season in charge from Shelbourne and despite a few disciplinary problems has become a Carlisle fans favourite. Richie is first choice but who plays along side him can be one of three the first of, which is Craig Farrell who joined the club for a small fee from Leeds. A promising striker things could really happen for him this season.

The shenanigans that are completely and utterly untrue...

No smoke without fire though.

In all honesty, whether anything did happen behind the scenes matters not as he was a very poor signing for us. I felt, potentially, he would do well but it just hasn't worked out for all parties involved

It is a shame that Forna never actually got a chance to really play for us, but that is football I guess. We are obviously never going to play him, so 100k would be fantastic!

Had a few good games when actually given the chance, Palace at home, and the Burnley, I always thought it rather harsh that he was not given the chance in league 1.

Had a couple of great moments this season though:

1) Getting that to$$er back for injuring Hammell by shashing him, great red card.

2) His goal from the half way line pre-season, Maldon?

oh yes i remember my dad telling me that Brushy said that because i think it was my dad that asked the question of why is Foran played on wing... but foran is a lot more useful upfront than wide!

never given much of a chance was foran and would like to keep but impossible to after all the shenagians that went on!

Foran always played up front for Carlisle and was a constant threat...That is where he needed to play for us, bit never really did...Waste really!!
