Watched Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation, really enjoyed it. Old Cruise is at his cheesy best as the hero spy, along with Simon Pegg. Rebecca Ferguson is the eye candy :winking:

Hateful eight. typical Tarintino film. i enjoyed it but not one of his best in my opinion

I'm not a gret Tarantino fan. Most of his films I have to watch a coupld of times to 'get' ) (I disliked Inglorious Basards, and it took me 5 attempts to sit through Pulp Fiction- which I now like) . However I enjoyed Hatefull eight, it is as you say a 'typical Tarinitino' film, and I assume that the 'special effects blood and guts' providers had a 2 4 1l promotion on.
A few scenes could have ben shortered, or shots shortered (its a stage coach in the snow in the middle of no where- I get it).

Saw Tony Richardson's The loneliness of the long distance runner again the other night (after my wife came back from seeing 45 years and asked me if we had any other Tom Courtenay films).
What a wonderful British film it is.

Legend 7/10 - Tom Hardy's acting 10/10. His acting and some of the scenes are excellent but I think the overall storyline was a little poor. The Krays have so much history and a great story and it wasn't covered brilliantly as it could have been in this film.

Yes it looks amazing, the bear scene is incredible but I found it far too long. Tom Hardy does his best intelligible Bane voice at times. 6/10

"The Rack Pack" - A decent little film, even if your not into Snooker, like me. You get a straightforward insight into how Barry Hearn and Steve Davis came onto the scene and made the sport grow to massive heights. Also delves into the rivalry between Steve Davis and 'Hurricane' Higgins. Not a bad film.

Cristian Bale (and to a slightly lesser degree) Brad Pitt were both excellent.
