Films you've watched recently.

I do like a true murder film but this one was actually shocking beyond belief.

Did you watch it @BoyWonder2

@BALDY seeing as you seem to like old movies, I suggest you check out a director called Pat Jackson. See if you can watch Western Approaches and if you do, let me know what you think. It's a 40's film by The Crown Film Unit. Let me know and I'll reveal some interesting snippets about it.

Thanks for the heads up----I am now going to read about Pat.

Benfleet, I have found "Western Approaches" on Bing Video and I have saved it.
I will be watching it tomorrow morning.

Thanks for letting me know about it.

Overnight flight into LHR. John Wick 4. Gotta be honest I fail to under the hype around it (and I liked the franchise). Stretched the imagination beyond reality from about 10 minutes in and kept stretching it.

Women Talking. I’m convinced it won’t be for everyone but quite an intriguing film. Slow paced. It’s all about the narrative. I liked it.

Living (Bill Nighy) a dour civil servant’s life changes after a medical diagnosis. I really enjoyed this one.

I don’t sleep that well in economy! But also the flight is now 14 hours rather than 12.5 thanks to Russia.

Another vote for Easy Rider, which I've just dug out of my DVD collectionafter not seeing it again for years.Wonderful soundtrack,,which back in the day,IIRC; is the reason why most people got interested in it.

14hrs in economy - I trust this wasn't for work...

I wouldn’t do economy long haul for work! The price was also the most I’ve ever paid in 11 years. I’ve done Premium Economy return cheaper. 2 hour departure delay while we were on plane. 25 minutes for doors to open after docking 70 minutes for suitcase. ORM was not a happy bunny yesterday

I am sure that it was worth it just to see the wonderful "Living"---I saw it twice and I loved it.

Benfleet.....I have seen another Pat Jackson film....Googie Withers was wonderful....Great to see Basil Radford also.
