Don't be ridiculous, that's more than their usual home gate.So why are they not opening it then?
And they’ll bring at least a hundred.
That might be because the crowd level in W is being managed to only having ticket holders in there to it's capacity and not dangerously overcrowded...If I remember right we was in there in our play off loss to crew. When the late Chris barker scored but we lost atmosphere was great that day. W block feels like it’s got flatter since the take over imo
Hmm not managed well enough as my son has a ticket there and has to arrive pretty early to guarantee his spot. That might be because the crowd level in W is being managed to only having ticket holders in there to it's capacity and not dangerously overcrowded...
There is someone in my seat every game. They always move.Hmm not managed well enough as my son has a ticket there and has to arrive pretty early to guarantee his spot.
I’m sure they always move for you Tommy but my son is 15, the people occupying his seat are much older. I’ve told him to tell the stewards and offered to move them myself but .. .. he doesn’t want the aggro. There is someone in my seat every game. They always move.
Opening the 400 in X block would certainly stop this and spread the noise.
As long as X block, in addition to W is a standing and singing section. There is someone in my seat every game. They always move.

No checking tickets/cards on Saturday, guess they were busy with away fans, W block was mobbed, but it has been better in previous league games. Sorry to read your son gets squashed in.Hmm not managed well enough as my son has a ticket there and has to arrive pretty early to guarantee his spot.
100% agree. Its getting ridiculous. Can't get up the steps as they are completely covered and seats often 3 deep.Yes, Block W is popular and has completely been outgrown, there are far to many persons in there now, but you cant blame them as that is were they want to be.
The beginning part of the season was good, season cards being looked at, and those not for block W was then moved on, and once again it was a safe place to stand.
Then on Saturday, Tickets were not being inspected, and Block W was rammed again, and again it was starting to get dangerous again, at times im having to pick kids up in front of me that have been bundled on by others and getting squashed, then seats are being broken by persons falling them.
Now im afraid that someone may get hurt in Block W and the powers to be then close the block or make persons in there made to sit down.
Now this would be no fault of the supporters as we have said in the past Block W is way to small now, open Block X also, make this standing and a singing section also.
SO, IN SHORT, OPEN BLOCK X, ON PERMEANT BASIS, MAKE THIS AN EXTENTION OF BLOCK W.
DO THIS OF THE NEXT GAME FOR HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS AND THE SAFETY OF ALL IN THAT AREA.
Freddie’s 2nd home
+1 !Has there been any feedback from anyone as to the success of the repaired/new services in the NB? Anything from Charlton fans? I’m sure it will take a while to get it as good as it can be but any feedback would no doubt be useful to the club.
BasildonWhere will Away fans be housed (apologies if this has already been answered) if we take over the North
Didn't TL already state that they were getting it ready for boxing day so they could specifically sell more home tickets in the NB?Realistically, there is no way on earth that the North Stand will be made safe standing or available for home fans this season. And I'm not convinced that there are enough willing home supporters to fill a stand which is designed for 2k+ people. I realise that there is a strong call for a return to the North Stand but its always from the same minority on here. The big deal would be where to put the away fans.
