They've peaked too soon perhaps .. semis i think will be Spain & Germany for sure, Italy have impressed me today and an outsider like Ukraine in a South Korea nobbled officials type of way

]Not Spain on that performance[/B], Torres in "being ****" shocker.

Spain and Germany will contest the final.Italy looked good today but they blew a great chance to win the match(and the group).
Russia would be my outsider in the SF mix.Don't discount France(who have an easy game tomorrow)either.:winking:

Don't care who wins it as long as i don't have to hear BBC 1 banging on about how much we love 'plucky' Ireland - i love Ireland as much as they love us - hope they get hammered by Croatia.

You should be OK, it's on ITV (Irish Television?)

I can't stand Croatia, who are a team of dirty, diving, cheating *******s who have produced scum like the racist Igor Stimac, the cheating Slaven Bilic and the diving Davor Suker. Even the despicable Sinsja Mihajlović was born in Croatia.

However I still cheered loudly when Ireland conceded. Take that ITV!

I had the great pleasure of having an Irish mate come round for the game.:hilarious:
Only thing is I suspect something similar will happen to us tomorrow.I'll go for 2-0 to France I think.

After watching nearly every game so far I am no where nearer to getting any idea who will win it as I don't think any team has stood out. I think its most likely to be between Holland, Spain and Germany. Out of the three I reckon I'd rather Holland win it!

Russia and Italy were both very strong IMO, however the early fliers haven't tended to last the tournament, and often the eventual winner gets off to a slow start.

Looks good for Spain then.:winking:

I'm still not quite sure Spain are the force everyone predicts. They seemed blunt up front, and their defence isn't one of the strongest, I'd rate Italy and maybe England's as stronger. Obviously they they some much in the middle they can cover that and they'll probably improve, but people seem to think their a dead cert.

Clearly, they're not a certainty but they're still the team to beat,IMO.

Spain were blunt up top because they didn't have a top - 4-6-0 they played in game 1. And Holland looked poor against the Danes.
