"Good morning everybody........"
what number was he at in windies?
Ravi batted at 6 in W.Indies. Top effort today. Still a lot of work to be done by England though to get in a satisfactory position.
what number was he at in windies?
Didnt Bell get a big one at the start of the series against South Africa? was he at 3 then?
Early on Baker was the pick of the bowlers, he had an 8 over spell for 15 before lunch. Taylor has been ok, but not really threatened.
As far as Edwards is concerned I was with your mate as I've never thought he was going to be that good, but the improvement in the last year has been terrific. I am pretty sure he will be in the top 10 before long, he also seems to be getting better in the one day stuff.
I thought Strauss opened in Napier. According to Bumble it was Vaughan v NZ last summer.
100 to Ravi top effort by him, let's hope he goes on from here.
what number was he at in windies?
:D It was Vaughan against New Zealand last year. I thought it was Ted Dexter.:nope:
Blimey chance number 5 goes down since Tea.
No doubt cue those peculiar claims that Lords is not an easy 'seeing' ground....
Interesting that Bresnan is coming in ahead of Swann.
Haven't seen Bresnan bat for some time, but I had Swann down as the more talented but I think Bresnan has been batting pretty high for Yorks. Actually I think Broad bats below Swann at Notts so maybe county batting should be ignored.
That wasn't the first significant stand between Bopara and Broad because there was this one which had me very excited as to the future of English cricket.
God knows why it took them nearly two years to be playing tests together.
