Good win today, although I put us down for a defeat. Hope Kev doesn’t make changes unnecessarily for Tuesday. As they say don’t fix it if it ain’t broke.

Rochdale having a number of games in hand make the chances a little slimmer than on the face of it but get the point there is still time (remarkably).

Yes, but they are 6th. Altrincham are 7th and catchable. We play Rochdale, Altrincham and Halifax all at Roots Hall. That is key to me, making our home record half decent, which with the backing we get, should be achievable. 4 of the next 5 are at home with only Maidenhead away breaking that up. With Tamworth away after that, we should be aiming for 14 points out of 18.

That is what Bonne brings to this team, I’ve been fighting his corner as much as I can lately and today have proved me right. His work rate and movement is important to us and to be honest was a very good performance from him, you could see the confidence he gained from that goal and I truly believe he will score more now, that first goal is always a worry especially when it’s been so long. The plaudits will definitely go to Bonne, Morton and Kendall (can't believe he went off in the 56th minute, but we got our second shortly after, so what do I no!), but great to see Gus find the back of the net again, a vital goal that put the match effectively to bed.

With one of my sons sat in the Daggers end I turned to my other son and said Bonne would score today and he did and put in a fantastic performance.

For me Morton, Bonne and Taylor were stand out performances today. How Taylor got a yellow for a perfect tackle will never know. But the whole team played well.

Great formation, correct selections and increased tempo….you would almost think Kev reads Shrinperzone

Now don’t drop Morton again, 6 points off the play offs and lots of winnable games, that 7th place is achievable
