Post-Match Thread and Ratings Dagenham & Redbridge 0-2 Southend United

A competent display and never in doubt. Only downer for me was the injuries we picked up. Colllin, I hope he isn't out too long. Also I hope Gus' knock isn't too bad. Tuesday could be an opportunity to rest it and give Wind a run out.

Great assist and calm headedness from Kendall and I am so pleased McCauley finshed.

Goodliffe looked solid and a good addition.

The whole team looked more energetic. Bridge still can't take a corner, why not just aim for the penalty spot ffs! We wouldn't lose any opportunities ffs!

Glad Waldron got some minutes.

Over 1200 away fans, so pleased the team performed for them.

A win on Tuesday could see us move closer to that 7th spot, you never know.

Hope Collins injury not to bad. Talk about terrible luck and only just back in again. Glad Harness did well

Are we going to need yet another emergency keeper loan ? Could be some sort of weird record for keepers in our match day squad if this carries on

Collin, Harness, Jeacock, Hillsom, youngster Charlie Brown had to make the squad as cover so far I think , any more? Cant remember if anyone else? but that's 5 for starters without the need for another one

And David Martin had to make 9 appearances when Collin got injured last year

Great result and performance. Kev was rewarded for a more attacking line up which saw us come out of the blocks quickly, committing more bodies forward than at any time this season.

Hats off to Kev for being proactive, bringing on KAF for Kendall just as Daggers were building up a head of steam at the beginning of the second half.
Bonne and Morton both very impressive today, as well as Golding and Taylor.
You could see the relief on Bonne's face when he knocked home the opener after a composed cut back from Kendall.
Having seen the replay, he looked onside for the header which was cruelly chalked off earlier on. He worked really hard all afternoon, and was a real thorn in their side with his physical play and runs in the channels.
Very professional performance in the last 30 mins where we took the sting out of the game by keeping possession really well.
You could hear the away following loud and proud all afternoon. Great work everyone.

A very professional display which made Daggers look poor. I must admit that when Collin went off I was a bit twitchy when Harness came on, but he was solid and produced one superb save in the second half. As others have already voted, Bonne was my MoM but Morton ran him close. A special word of praise for Kev and co for their contribution to this win, it's really pleasing that they mixed it up a bit to produce our very good performance. Roll on Tuesday.
