Or my Mum!How could you miss out Alf Ramsey lol
TBH i've always been a fan of Good liffe aswell. Especially Felicity Kendall !!!So Goodliffe was out there organising the back four, that sounds like the tough centre back I know, he won’t take any prisoners just like his dad Jason Goodliffe who played many games mostly non league.
Rochdale having a number of games in hand make the chances a little slimmer than on the face of it but get the point there is still time (remarkably).6pts ? That is 2 wins to catch up with 19 games remaining.
not really, i can rarely do away games! It'll be difficult to abandon 3 strikers for a game or two. Our away form yielding more PPG than home takes some working out ?
A look at the table tells you we're a long way off that 7th spot & a playoff place ,which is how the season will ultimtely be judged IMO.
Lifted from our forum from any other week reallyFrom the Daggers can forum:
"I question what the tactics were, park the bus from the start and hope for the best? The only player to come out of this game with any credit was Rutherford and he is a right sided player who played on the left today, for a few seasons now I’ve been saying I wouldn’t renew my season ticket but it’s 100% definite for next season, today was crap crap crap and the new “manager/ head coach” has been given a two and a half year contract! F F S how depressing is that thought? Never before have I seen a daggers team capitulate like they did today and made a s4it side look like a premiere league team.Congratulations Sarfend you made us look like a Sunday league side. "
See comment #40 (only one page back).Only six points….
ALL wins are great no matter who the oppositionIt was a win.Hardly a great one I'd say.
That was mentioned on the commentary toWhat struck me was that every player ran to congratulate Bonne when he scored, plus the entire bench were up. A most popular goal scorer indeed!
What about 4 out of 5 swallows?A good win over a very poor D&R team but one Swallow does not make a Summer and we certainly needed to improve. It was great to see a more attacking formation with 3 up top and we played with a lot more pace. Why we do not play well at home seems to be our problem atm but at least Kev made some changes in his set up.
Really pleased Bonne got on the score sheet at last , i am no fan of his but he worked very hard today alongside Kendall and was my MOTM. Morton also had a very good game.
Overall a good performance and the travelling loud 1200 Shrimpers fans were fantastic. I hope Collin is ok and not out for to long.
