The Braintree game and this game were the two games no matter how **** we’ve been I wanted us to win. Both sets of fans are insufferable.

Thank god for a win here! Absolutely over the moon for Bonne, hopefully now the pressure is off he will start scoring more freely. I fear this might not be the case as a new signing will come in and he is likely to be dropped.

Really hope Collin is ok and good to return, the last thing we need is another issue with GK’s. And as much as I’ve seen comments on Harness doing ok and not being as **** as made out. I think that highlights the opposition rather than him. I have zero faith with him between the sticks so hoping it’s nothing serious with Collin or we can manage to get another keeper in.

So Goodliffe was out there organising the back four, that sounds like the tough centre back I know, he won’t take any prisoners just like his dad Jason Goodliffe who played many games mostly non league.

I said to my son I had a feeling Bonne would get one today. That’s what happens when we play with a bit of pace and drive at teams (though they were rubbish). Morton in, Husin and Miley out .. amazing what the difference was. Kendall worked hard as did Bonne, we just looked more up for it than we have done in a while. Walker looked like he wanted to impress in front of Daggers fans. As is usual for these matches, our fans were brilliant, positive .. got behind the team .. and Bonne loved his celebration in front of us.

Just back. Great atmosphere today from our fans. So glad to see Bonne gets his goal, he played really well too. Morton and Kendall also shone, hope they start the next game. We pretty much dominated throughout so deserved the three points. UTB

Well what a difference a week makes, just got back and a completely different mood today , the beauty of football. So pleased to bonne and caught his interview on the radio coming home, nice to hear he is enjoying himself and wants to do well, he ran his socks off today and fully deserved the goal, great to see the emotion come out of him aswell. Morton was great aswell as was Kendall, him and bonne could make a great partnership if this carrys on, I thought Kendall was unlucky to come off and probably would of taken off walker, but we have a game in a few days so could be something in that as the decision.
Good to see Kev change it and start morton which has been the call for a while, yes we beat a poor side, but nice to have some positives

What struck me was that every player ran to congratulate Bonne when he scored, plus the entire bench were up. A most popular goal scorer indeed!

A good win over a very poor D&R team but one Swallow does not make a Summer and we certainly needed to improve. It was great to see a more attacking formation with 3 up top and we played with a lot more pace. Why we do not play well at home seems to be our problem atm but at least Kev made some changes in his set up.

Really pleased Bonne got on the score sheet at last , i am no fan of his but he worked very hard today alongside Kendall and was my MOTM. Morton also had a very good game.

Overall a good performance and the travelling loud 1200 Shrimpers fans were fantastic. I hope Collin is ok and not out for to long.
