Can't help but feel they've made a big mistake there. If they did it for Leeds, why couldn't they do it for us?

Could be Essex Police have had a say in this given we are local rivals, daft really they always assume we are all looking for trouble when in reality the fans of both clubs know there will be very little if any.

Col Ewes are 2-0 down & 2nd from bottom the way things stand .... I guess they won't sell their tickets well, over 5k tickets unsold!

Funny Col u fan on BBC Essex after the game saying how Col u could have won 6-3 and about WHEN they're in the top half of the table!:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Doh! should say mate'. The beauty of Shrimperzone that we don't show our pics and our name lol. Look at their crowds yesterday Vs Barnsley, only 3'200! Pathetic really and their still over 5k tickets unsold so far for Boxing Days, think it's will be 6/7k

I know 16 friends who got tickets in home end, as we all don't want to miss the match we been waiting for a long time for!

I think Col Ewes didn't want an embarrassment of their ground been out numbered by away fans lol

I heard this as well. Bit optimistic if I was Colchester fan I would be very happy with 5th from bottom this season

dont know where you are getting your information from as there are currently about 6/700 tickets available in the home ends including the block that was released a couple of days ago.

Agreed Eddy M One look at the online sales site shows that there is very little other than the single isolated seats dotted about in many areas now and maybe half of E4 and some areas of the West stand.

Cap... naive question mebbe...do hospitalities get allocated seats within "the ground", or in boxes..i.e, free
up seats for other potential punters?

if you have a box, the seats are out the front of the box. with hospitality, you would be allocated a padded seat in probably W4/5. the hospitality area is behind those blocks.

All for rivalry but you are talking utter toilet! - there are currently only 677 tickets availabe to buy for home fans (albiet block E3 isn't currently on sale but most, if not all, of that will be left for segregation.

For all the talk about hundreds in the home I sincerely doubt that but if they are and keep schtum and don't cause any hassle then fair play - It will be pretty much sold out before the day, there will be a riduculous amount of police around stadium, in car-parks etc and I suspect that they will operate a policy of ejecting away fans in home areas if they are detected (purely on Police advice as nowhere to relocate them to)

On current form/balance of probabilities you will stuff us and it will be a high scoring game, but most U's fans live in hope that we'll have the famous "new manager bounce" and nick a win - if I was a betting man I wouldn't be putting any money on that though.

Obviously I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a truly awful Boxing Day!

Oi NEWS, it's OUR message board. Rivalry has nothing to do with it and if some Blues posters are being biased and post views you disagree with then that's ok. I also hope your Christmas day is brilliant to counter the Boxing Day disappointment. Although I'm not as confident as you on the outcome:smiles:
