That's true I'm afraid - looking at online there are less than 850 tickets left availabe for home fans to buy (Albeit E3 is not currently availabe) - E4 was only realised for sales this week and is selling fairly quickly - I honestly can't see any chance of you being given extra tickets unless they decide to put the first couple of rows of the North Stand on sale (which aren't currently sold to allow for netting etc - accounts for about another 260 seats) but it's presumed that's on stewarding/police advice so doubt that will change.

I'm estimating that capacity for this will be about 9500 due to segregation/netting etc and attendance will be somewhere very close to that.

The best advice I could offer is if some of your fans lobby your end to sell the additional seats in the North Stand by offering additional stewards or something??

I agree with that NEWS, it is such a shame if those seats remain empty they obviously think there is a good chance of fan disorder, which personally I think is highly unlikely especially within the confines of the stadium itself.

Brace yourself, we are coming to burn your barns and rustle your sheep, you can keep your women, too much hassle to try and find marigolds with 6 fingers after chaining them to the sink

Was going to ask in the away travel bit but as there's a couple of col ewe on this thread thought I'd make sure they see it... Any advice on driving up? Anywhere fairly close to park for free? Can't find nothing online like most away grounds.

Posts 9, 23, 25 and 37 on this thread help on the parking front. There are more posts afterwards but you can look those up if you need to. For me driving up from Westcliff, it's the A127 - B1245 - A130 and A12. Depends where you're starting from though.

There is little options for free parking anywhere near the stadium - there are some housing estates nearish (maybe 10-15min walking) but there are stewards around advising you that you can't park there - BUT they have no powers to enforce any such restrictions and are there purely to placate nearby residents.

The "best" option in my opinion is simply to drive down A12 - exit at junction 28, stadium is immediately visible on your right, take left turn off exit slip into the Park and Ride - will cost £3 per car, has around 1000 spaces and is about 10-15 minutes walk to stadium. Alternatively you can drive into town, park at railway station (no idea how much that will be on a bank holiday) and pay £2 for the shuttle buses to the stadium - would imagine it will take a fair bit longer but depends on what time you are arriving and if you want to go for a pint in a pub pre-match or not. There are usually a few companies on the industrial estate that charge about £3 or £4 to park too and again a 10 minute or so walk away but no idea how congested it will be or what availability there is as it's not formally sponsered by club so has limited advertising in advance

Last time I came to the lego arena I drove to pretty much where the stadium is and just parked up a kerb. No aggro whatsoever.

Anyone know of a decent cafe that will be open close to the ground?

Depends what you want, there is a Cafe at the ground that will be open on matchday it is called hotshots and serves hot and cold food and drink. There is also various catering outlets and we normally open the concourse underneath the Southstand well before the game where you can buy food and drink and watch the live match on the TV's or listen to the live local band, there is a different one each home game on a small stage area set up behind the South stand. There is a McDonalds very close to the ground near the A12 and a Marks and Spencers food outlet near the A12 petrol services opposite the stadium. There are several pubs within 2-3 miles of the ground if you want to drive there 1st but being Boxing day they may only be open for bookings. Not great fare I know but trust me there is no shortage of food and drink outlets at the ground despite what you may hear from others.

Can't help but feel they've made a big mistake there. If they did it for Leeds, why couldn't they do it for us?
