I'm sure it won't but if this, ORM, leads to a decline in the number of SZ posts that could be filed under the heading of "Waaah, the vote didn't go my way!" then I'll hold you personally responsible. Their inherent misery sustains me.

Pot, kettle, black.

Maybe....but I've got every right to be bitter as the Brexit vote was one of the most damn stupid things that this country has ever done and came about by outright lies and misinformation and will negatively impact the lives of the young in my family for generations.

In your opinion, not fact. Now stop being such a big drama queen.

I know you think it's the best thing since sliced bread but I'm staggered that you don't feel an inkling of dread when institutions like the CBI have asked for an indefinite delay to Brexit?

I imagine that as far as B. is concerned it's just "project fear" all over again.:nope:

The CBI is not a neutral voice and has only asked for the UK to remain in the Single Market until an exit deal comes into force.

No.But they are the institution which represents big business in the UK.You'd 've thought they and the Tories would be singing from the same hymn sheet on this issue.

What, you mean it has interests in business (and jobs) remaining in the UK instead jumping ship to Europe?

This is the way it's going to be.Get used to it.

"In the end, it is the European Parliament that will say yes or no, and I can tell you it not will be a yes if the rights of European citizens - and also the rights of UK citizens living on the continent - will be diminished [and] cut off, like it is at the moment."

The rights of EU nationals living over here is already pretty damn good, arguably better than for our (far fewer) nationals that reside within the EU empire.
