Brentford replay

Just got off the phone to the ticket office. Was told I can't get any tickets sent down with the coach, something about not supposed to do it and only doing a limited number. Bit disappointing as means I'll have to risk it on the night and hope we've not sold the terrace out when I arrive. She said that if we've not sold our allocation we'll be able to pay on the night. Also said 700 sold so far, so either out of date numbers or not sold too many over the last day. I didn't query what the breakdown was between seated and standing though.

I assume most people will buy tickets in advance, so should be some left in the terrace on the night? Won't be able to arrive until 6.30/7 so hope we won't be disappointed!

That's very disappointing. However I don't think we will take anywhere near our total allocation so I think you will have no problems with entry.
 
Hate to say it but I don't give us much hope at all now without Laird, our midfield is shot. If we don't get quality reinforcements in for Laird and Tam quickly all the good work of the last couple of months will be eroded.
 
I am willing to help anyone get their tickets for Brentford.. If anyone wants to book from SUFC i will gladly pick them up from office and deliver them into your hands ... you can all meet me off the TZ coach... I am trustworthy!!!

I was thinking that Brentford faced as nearly as long trip as us today...........that was the good news. Unfortunately, they came out with a confidence boosting victory at Oldham. Don't want to be too depressing about it but as I see it, with the present available squad, our only chance of remaining in the Cup, is the weather............ let it snow, let it snow, PLEASE!!!
 
I'd imagine that if Tuesday got called off and it was played next week instead, it would still go ahead on the Sunday as planned. Although the cups "arent that important", a loss against Brentford will affect the players (despite what they say!) as they know they'd have missed a chance to play against Chelsea, which wont happen too often for this crop of players!
 
I have a ticket and i am looking foward to the match but with tam gone and britt and laird injured i fear the team could take a hiding. Maybe a postponement to allow sturrock to get people in and out will be a huge benefit.

Love to see us win , but i think we need a winger and a solid midfielder and sharpish.

Love to see freddy benyon martin and straker go out as all are passengers
 
well i think theres a possibility we are getting in someone on monday and give freddy a run out, this would be game he would want to prove himself in, but we need another Tam.

No benefit at all, I think.

To be eligible for the replay (or any postponed replay) I believe you need to have been eligible for the original match.

Freddy wasn't on the bench today so he is probably still injured.
 
A postponement would mean the replay would have to be played the weekend of the actual 4th round (Brentford already have a re-arranged fixture on Tue 22nd), therefore it is likely we won't be on TV and lose out on a lot of money.

No, I'm sure Brentford's re-arranged fixture would be un-arranged.
