I don't quite know how to interpret your use of the word safe.............safe until kick-off???? I don't think that I have rarely felt more unsafe as a Southend supporter. Am I weird to find it strange that anyone can be really looking forward to tomorrow night, with the present state of our squad?

I get where you're coming from and Brentford must be massive favourites right now , but who knows ?
An early goal by us , Brentford get anxious at the possibility of losing the big prize of Chelsea , we sneak another on the break..................
Ok , I don't believe it either , but no matter what has happened in terms of previous results , injuries , loss of form etc , I always get the same 'blind' optimism just before EVERY match.
It's all part of being a fan..............................COYB !

Glad to see that tickets will be available on the gate, doesn't affect me but means that we can have more shrimpers there getting behind the team! (Hopefully)

The match will be ALL TICKET and Brentford supporters will be housed in three sides of the ground as normal, The Bees United Stand, on the Braemar Road side of the ground, The Bill Axbey Stand, on the New Road side of the ground, and The BIAS Terrace, at the Ealing Road end of the ground.
The Club has reduced prices for a number of fixtures this season, including for both FA Cup with Budweiser ties at Griffin Park.
For this match, if it takes place, there will be a slight increase in ticket prices, with lower admission costs for Season Ticket Holders.
All extra funds raised from this increase in ticket prices will be given to Manager Uwe Rösler as part of an increase in the playing budget as the Club pushes for promotion in the second half of the season

Brentford have made their plans for Chelsea game. :'(

Unfortunately we have hit the wall at just the wrong time. During that enbeaten run we had a very settled side and one that stayed free of injury. Now and after Tam left, we also have injuries to key players, namely Laird and Britt both of whom have been oustanding. All of a sudden from all the hype after Oxford last week we now go into a very crucial time of the season, out of form and lacking quality players. All of a sudden, promotion, wembley and chelseas seem a long way off. I remain fully committed behind PS and believe in him, still say he has done wonders in the time here. To be honest apart from the financial aspect involved, wouldnt be too unhappy if we lose tomorrow night. At least we then have a free weekend i assume come the 26th. Players need a break.

For those travelling on the central line (in case ya don't know!) - you can get off at Ealing Broadway and walk round the corner to the high street (uxbridge road) at the side of Marks and Sparks you can get a number 67 bus which takes you to outside the ground - takes about 10 minutes if memory serves.
May be wrong about the bus number but it's the one going to Richmond and is a double decker.

Number 65 to Kingston (via Richmond)

Rosler seems like a bit of a twit. Didn't he say that Hurst would never score another goal like that in his career after our match against them in the JPT? Bit of extra motivation for our players there, if they needed any!

i got told by a lad in the ticket office that we have sold around 1100 tickets so we could get around 1300 with tickets at the gate.
