Brawn GP

Did any other teams have this power of veto?

Just in case the question isn't rhetorical, the question is an unequivocal no. As you can imagine, some pretty nasty comments were being made during the BBC's live coverage of the practice session. David Croft and, particularly, Anthony Davidson were absolutely astounded.

It makes the FIA's obvious McLaren witchunt the past couple of years laughable. And also explains why they did nothing when teams were using illegal fuel at the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2007. If they had, Lewis Hamilton would have been a double world champion .....

It should breathe some life into the second half of the season proving that Brawn don't go back to being totally dominant in hotter weather.

If I had a tenner I'd stick it on a Brawn 1-2 quali and finish for Abu Dhabi.

I had a fiver on Vettel to win at Silverstone. Also did Webber for a podium and Pakistan to win the 20/20. Quite a good day.
Ill keep an eye out for the Abu Dhabi prices.

boring race, but quite interesting watching kovalainen destroy his F1 career, he's on borrowed time really.

all the action was with the 4 cars scrapping for 14th place, they should have left the cameras on them for a lot longer.

any Alonso/Hamilton battle is great. I thought the battle got a reasonable amount of airtime, normally the 'home' footage is pretty good... even if Silverstone is a pretty dull circuit

Apparantly Moseley & Ferrari, Brawn (et al) have come to an agreement and there will be no breakaway tournament next year (though I doubt theyre ever would have been).

Well, there's a shock. The son of a famous fascist leader dictating how things should move forward. Sudetenland Grand Prix here we come.
