I have. In an alternative version of the second half it's Pepple not managing the tightrope walk that is his second yellow card or it's him on the receiving end of Clampin's frustration and we lose him for months.Have you considered the idea that the substitutions earned us the win?
In their last home match against Oldham on Dec 21 there were 1,046 in attendance with about 300 away fans.So tonight's attendance was 3285 of which 1600 were from Southend.Wonder howmany were in the home end supporting Southend?

I'm not sure KAF brings that much, so if he were to go and we could replace with better, it gets my vote.Maher really ain’t got a clue has he?
To start with the rapidly out of form/out of ideas Bridge and Husin is unforgivable every week, is there anyone from the 1600 supporters that would do the same?
To sub Kendall, is there anyone that at the time would have done the same?
Fact is, we grovelled over the line against a bottom 4 side and all because the manager is happy and instrumental in risking us throwing away a 1 0 lead with his suicidal/negative tactics.
Totally in control first half and should put it to bed 3 0 but oh know, let’s go deep and hang on for the last half hour.
He’s got away with it against a toothless outfit but how can he ever be expected to take us forward in the future if this was yet another example of him goal shy, shot shy, negative rubbish to bore a loyal, cold wet crowd.
If I was Morton and KAF I would be slapping in a transfer request Monday morning to find a club that is not blinkered into the same old out of form , negative garbage and get to use there undoubted quality elsewhere!
Happy New Year
Husin is clearly not the player he promised to be when he was signed. Probably explain why he never made it in a higher division. Time to move him on, along with Bridge. It would appear that unless there is a guaranteed obvious clear cut forward pass on, keeping possession even if it means passing back, is Maher's preferred style and woe betide anyone who dares to try something speculative. He alluded to new signings having to learn to play his way in his post match comments.....or could it be Husin is not the confident player he once was?
I doubt any coach will say to a player 'don't try and get the ball forward and attempt to score a goal'. Who does that?
We don't have control of the ball in a higher leagues, and taking that extra touch is a symptom.
I agree about the subs and said so further back.
Apart from Morton, they are a way behind first team choices.
I've read KAF brings 'energy'. Sorry, and all that, but he's an upgrade on Terrell.
Apart from being nudged off the ball and failing to control it, I'd like to know what he did in his 12 minutes on the pitch?
For once, a lone Bonne can be excused, especially with the ball banged long and hard up the pitch. Chase that, son...
When does Goldings deal finish? Could do with keeping hold of him until the end of the season. Another positive performance yesterday.Feels like we are developing a new spine which is rewarding us.

Actually, I owe you an aplogy as I was basing it on the old two points for a win system. Senoir momen. Think I'll go and shovel the snow away to clear my head! You're absolutely right, apologies. My original stat was regarding our form in the last 5 games and I didn't make that clear.
2 of which possibly go back this month...Feels like we are developing a new spine which is rewarding us.

That'll be Phils "Clean Sheet Mentality"In 2014/5, we only scored 54 goals over 46 games. Yet we still went up. I don't remember people complaining about the 10 (ten) 1-0 wins under Brown.
Presume dropped. You don't need two centre halves on the bench and having Gubbins on the bench allows you to potentially put Ralph at LWB as well as enabling a straight swap at CB.Is Crowther injured or was he just dropped from the Squad completely?
Noor is brilliant on his day. He is also awful on his day. That's why I guess he plays in tier five but without the consistency I'd definitely take any offers from other clubs. Been saying this for about two years.Husin is clearly not the player he promised to be when he was signed. Probably explain why he never made it in a higher division. How much of the improved defensive performance would you put down to Golding? I think in the last two games he’s led the line superbly, looked confident and accomplished on the ball. I think that makes a huge difference and I hope we can extend his loan.Should add also that it is worth watching the four goals Braintree scored against Dagenham on Boxing Day. They were all as a result of high balls into John Akinde and the Daggers defence just could not deal with him.
We dealt with him so well that Collin didn't have to make a save, and he got hooked in the second half having had no impact on the game whatsoever. Nathan Ralph put a marker out by winning two aerial duels against him in the first five minutes.
A very, very decent display by our back line. Further forward, work to be done but we are an improving side on the whole and I don't think it would harm certain posters to at least acknowledge that.
Also notable how direct we were yesterday, I don't recall Collin passing it to his back three once, possibly due to the condition of the pitch. It made for a very scrappy game which no doubt pleased those who complain about 'crab' football.
