If Kightly signs then no need for the Scottish attacking midfielder (Forrester?), but I sincerely hope we are still in for the (or another) centre back.

I would still suggest we need a centre midfielder, don't we only have Leonard, Timlin and Wordsworth (whose injured)

I'd be a bit concerned if we had Kightly at RM with Demetriou behind him. We'd be great going forward but compared to having Will Atkinson in there, we'd surely get ripped apart down the right wing at times ?!

I rather think given the threat of Kightly the oppo left back may have other priorities- doubling up on him in desperation..

If we were to sign speedy 24 year old CB Curtis Nelson ( supposedly unhappy at Oxford ) then i would say this would be the final piece in our jigsaw. We would then have everywhere covered with experience and quality .... we would be ready for a real promotion push !!!! :happy:

I was gutted when Oxford signed him last season. Thought maybe Coughlan would've used his Plymouth ties to have encouraged him to come to us. Maybe he wasn't a player that PB was interested in.

One year left on his deal, don't think we'd be prepared to splash the cash.

Interesting to see Aaron Pierre is on trial at Bristol City, would think this would be someone Brown would have his eye on. Don't think he's Championship quality yet but a good young CB and a giant! Would like him here with the experience of Ferdinand and Turner to help.

I'll go for Jack Payne. I have heard he won't be needed in the PL so how about a season loan with us.
