Minor in terms of sentencing but an extremely low and dispicable act. He has not been found guilty as yet but if he is then I hope he has the decency and contrition to make amends.

When we signed Nile the club knew that he been in trouble in the past. I am not condoning his (alleged) actions but they date back to February 2015 long before his association with SUFC.

The club have stood by the likes of Hall and Timlin who were convicted whilst with the club so I cannot see why they should not stand by Ranger for actions carried out nearly 2 years.

Ranger looks to be turning his life around and I see no benefit in punishing him beyond any correctly applied legal remedies for actions taken in the past.

The suggestion in the Daily Mail article is that he was "part of an alleged scam", suggesting others were involved, so his part could possibly be quite minor.
