Literally amazed by this. I hope to god he has improved a lot from his Crawley days as I have never seen a keeper fumble as many catches as Smith. Really happy to put faith in Sturrock but I'm mortified at the moment.

Hasn't Luggy said that both Bentley and Chambers will go on loan this season. I'm sure cluniemore posted that. Perhaps Smith isn't going to be first choice and we are going back to having 2 senior keepers

There might be something in this. Even Football Rumours said we were in for Bevan and Smith. I'd be surprised if we signed two given our supposed smaller budget this season though.

Whats the point in that, it didn't work when we had Morris and Evans. Its just a waste of wages that could be spent elsewhere. Plus even when our no.1 gets injured we always tend to get decent goalies in on loan Federici, Daniels, Belford.

Best bet is to stick with the one, Sturrock obviously has faith in this guy and he has played for Swindon a fair few games so he can't be all that bad.
