Bim Pepple

My sister lives near Vancouver (Coquitlam) and one of her sons lived in Calgary. She and hubby cycled to visit him once. Only 592 miles. She is of course quite mad.
Off topic but i stayed in Coquitlam for 2 months, nice little city, or it was when i was there, and friends there said lets pop to see some mates...3 hours driving later.........

In that article he says he will be playing in league two, Orient are in the league above so it appears to rule him out for going to them. It would appear he is going to a league two club localish to Southend, which suggests Colchester, Wimbledon, Bromley or Gillingham. We have big problems at present up front with Tovide and Taylor out with hamstring injuries and Scully still recovering after an operation. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tovide move on for a big fee in this window which means Bim is more likely to get game time with us compared to the other clubs.
That’s would be heartbreaking to lose him to you lot and let’s face it there is little difference between L2 (bottom half) and NL. Would be a sideways move in many ways.

If it's a loan deal the position of the loanee club doesn't really matter, it's more about the quality of the opposition, which will, on average, be higher in League 2.

Luton send him here. He scores goals. Luton recall. Goes immediately on loan elsewhere. Surely the loan contract should have a clause he can only be recalled if they’re selling him not just to go elsewhere on loan. Sucks tbh. Not good Luton, not good

No chance. That’s the problem with a loan player. At the start of the season, if they stink the place out they’re crap, if they’re any good they get recalled.

Guess it’s another reason why Kev doesn’t particularly like loans

If you try to impose such a clause I would imagine no-one would ever loan you a player. Not saying it's a bad idea, just that it almost certainly wouldn't work.

They do that most seasons, if a player does well they move them up a division as they did to us with Joe Taylor last season. Now they have sold Joe to Huddersfield for a fee in excess of 3 million!

I think we got Golding in similar circumstances though. Oxford recalled him then sent him to us. Some you lose some you win I guess.
