Bim Pepple

A week is a long time in football. Plenty on here saying he shouldn't have gone there, and he now has a double in league 2. It takes time.

Not too long ago, coming off the pitch at daggers, Bonne had just had his best game and plenty were lauding him. Roll forward a week and perceptions can change so quickly in football.

I think it's more his agents fault. Luton were apparently happy for him to remain with us.

It's always hard going into any team half way through a season and expect to hit the ground running. He's a totally different player to Grigg or Dobra. The team play to their strengths. Much like our team was set up to Cardwell's strengths, and still did even after he'd left.

One hopes it doesn't go too well and we can get him back in the summer.
Same old thing a greedy agent who couldnt give a toss about the player All agents care about is there wallet .

Why would Maher take him off after an hour when he’s on a hattrick?
Not saying i agree with it, and i genuinely dont understand how a young athlete cant play 90 minutes of football over a whole week.....

But it does seem to be kevs modus operandi to "rest" his strikers for the next game.

He could play 90 minutes in the same way that Usain Bolt **could** run 800m.

But Usain Bolt wouldn’t run 800m at the same pace he’d run a 100m race at. He’d either start fast and slow down or he’d start slow in an attempt to pace himself.

But you don’t need him to slow down when you can just bring on a sub. Pepple can then play at a higher intensity, he can press more, he can sprint more if he does it over 60 minutes than over 90 minutes. So you’re opting to get more out of him over 60 minutes in the knowledge that you can bring on fresh legs.

Sad as it is h.He wanted to try to improve in a higher leauge But he could and should have stayed with us for the full season .Thanks Loton you have destroyed a player that was doing well with us .
Cant you read it is not Lutons fault they were happy for him to stay with us it was Bims and his agents choice.
