Bim Pepple

“I told my team-mates it’s not goodbye because they’ll definitely be seeing me around,” said Pepple.

“I don’t think I’m going to be too far away so hopefully I can get down to some games.

So he's not going to chesterfield then? Colchester? Although maybe for a Canadian chesterfield and Southend are close!
I have heard L. Orient may be in for him.

Nice words with Chis P. Bim comes across as a decent guy and obviously enjoyed his time here.

There’s a chance he doesn’t get much playing time at Chesterfield and is available in the summer.

On the plus side - this does show EFL clubs that SUFC will look after & improve their younger talents.

I have heard L. Orient may be in for him.
In that article he says he will be playing in league two, Orient are in the league above so it appears to rule him out for going to them. It would appear he is going to a league two club localish to Southend, which suggests Colchester, Wimbledon, Bromley or Gillingham. We have big problems at present up front with Tovide and Taylor out with hamstring injuries and Scully still recovering after an operation. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tovide move on for a big fee in this window which means Bim is more likely to get game time with us compared to the other clubs.

True, but my itk mate at Chesterfield has said they expected him to be signed on loan on Friday, when I asked him whether it was a loan or perm. However Orient have now complicated the scenario for them and he is hoping they can still win out. Whether he goes there or not, Orient are interested. and I only said may be in for him in the post you quoted.

Remember, he’s Canadian, his version of not to far away could have him Partnering Dalby at Dundee!!

Who knows, we will find out soon enough next week!

I once accompanied my Canadian cousin's children on a journey from Prince Rupert BC to buy their favourite ice cream in the next town, Terrace. It was a 2 hour trip to get there..... They thought nothing of it and made that trip often.
