Just to add to the air of pessimism , I hope people don't think that despite our chronic lack of bodies , BBBC is going to come back into the starting 11 next weekend and start ripping this division apart.
He still needs to build up first team match fitness with 20 mins here and there , before he is anywhere near ready IMO.
Not that Sturrock will take notice , but please don't cry out for him to be rushed back and then attack the Manager for not doing it.
He was out for a long time and this will be a gradual process IMO.

In additional down beat news , I am leaving work soon and don't have an umbrella :'(

Just goes to show "there are lies, dammed lies and statistics." Especially where BBBC is concerned.:winking:

At least he'll be completing his 3 match ban tomorrow and will presumably be back on the bench next Saturday. That way he'll be earning whatever he's paid again.

Am I wrong in saying he has only been sent off once for us?

Big Bad Barry Corr was in the East Stand this evening watching his team-mates in his SUFC winter coat.

His Ban is now over, however strangely in hindsight this rest from first team selection may have taken a little pressure off him and Sturrock to use him too soon. It allowed him an extra week to recover from his back spasm (Warm up v Exeter) and gave him another week towards his rehab.

I just hope we as fans, Sturrock as the gaffer and Corr himself can be patient with how we use him, please be patient and resist the temptation to overuse him so soon. It is a long season and easing him in over the next 3-4 weeks may mean we have him for the entire campaign.

Yeah I think everyone will be happy to bring him on as a impact sub with 20 mins to go. Of course this is only if needed. e.g if losing or drawing.
