Well that just shows what a plum you really are if you just give neg rep to someone because they gave it to you. Neg rep is there to show disapproval to something you whole heartedly disagree with, not to use for tit for tat. Idoubt you have ever given positive rep because it's not in you to do so.

Incorrect. I get lots of nice comments in my grey rep.

Weirdly it's the people who moan most about rep who don't use it properly. as DWB says, keep it for disgreeing with posts (and not just neg repping when you get some yourself) and the system is fine.

Also neg rep people who moan about rep :winking:

Regardless of whether he neg-repped me because I neg-repped him first, the point was that BarnaBlue was wishing for the end of the career of one of our players presumably so that he could be 'proven' right about him on here. Pathetic.

Blimey, thats the pot calling the kettle black!

I didn't know anyone other than you 'played that game', I thought everyone else only gave neg rep because they didn't like what was posted on a thread. Thanks for putting me right

For the first time ever, I gave someone neg rep last week, for what I saw as a pretty foul and abusive personal comment on another poster. That post was subsequently deleted by one of the mods. For my troubles I immediately received a 'tit-for-tat' neg rep, accompanied by further abuse. I found that quite amusing, as it confirmed my ideas of the kind of person this individual was and, in my my mind anyway, someone who just resorts to personal abuse has lost the argument before it's even begun.

Please show me any post(or reputation comment)of mine which expressly wishes for BBBC's career to be finished because of injury.Irrespective of my personal opinion of his ability(which I've made clear elsewhere)I wouldn't wish that on any professional player(as I've also made clear previously).
Some of you really need a reality check.
BBBC is not the messiah. In fact he's a very naughty boy.
He proved that on Saturday when he let down his team mates, club, manager and fans by getting sent off.I'm full of admiration for Corr's fightback after a 17 month layoff but we could really have used him on the sub's bench for the next three home games starting tomorrow.
PS said in his post match Plymouth interview that Corr had a "short fuse." I think we all know that and it doesn't seem to have changed. It would also appear to be true for some of his admirers on SZ.That's what I find pathetic.Stop scapegoating and learn to live with the reality about Corr.
I was quick to praise his goal last week but suggested then, that Freddy's return and goal, might well prove more significant by the end of the season.Let's wait and see.

I can't because it wasn't in my last however many reps are stored. It happened though. You know it happened and I called you on it at the time.

It was in a thread about him at the end of last season. I made a post saying I hoped that Corr recovered from his injury and played for us this season. You left a rep saying that you hoped that he didn't. Absolutely outrageous, IMO.

Hoping that someone doesn't play for the club again is not the same as hoping that their career is cut permanently short by injury.
Surely even you can see that?

Well it kind of is when the only reason a guy wouldn't play for the club again is if injury cuts short his career.

Just add him to the ignore list - and Beefy, for what it's worth I agree 100% with your comments on that issue.

Keep on like this and I'll add you to my ignore list too.:smiles:
(Btw,you're both wrong but hey don't let the truth stand in the way of an easy bit of scapegoating).

The fact that it was well publicised that Barry Corr had a career threatening injury and you then say you hope he never plays for the club again insinuates that you would like the career threatening injury Barry had to mean he would never play football again. You twist it any way you want now you've been caught out but many people have seen you for what you are I'm afraid.

That said, someone on here suggested Benyon was an oxygen thief. To me that sounds like you'd be happy if someone wasn't breathing so you didn't quite go that far.

Actually, I didn't insinuate anything. What I said, quite clearly, was that I hoped Corr didn't play for the club again. That does not and was not meant to imply that I hoped he never played professional football again.

It's quite clear to me that you (and a couple of other zoners)have an agenda here. And it's you lot, in fact, who are doing all the "twisting."
Ten days ago, Corr was a hero after coming on against Exeter and scoring after a 17 month lay off.Now after a moment of madness in Devon he's out for the next 3 games. The second coming didn't last too long, did it?
Nobody likes to be proved wrong. And that's what hurts the most I imagine. Why else would Tampa Blue have chosen to resurrect this thread immediately after the Plymouth game in which Corr was sent off?

I suggest you find another scapegoat for Corr getting sent off.Like Corr himself.

Why would you hope that someone who scored 21 goals in a season for the club would never play for us again?

You're definitely right that someone has an agenda.

I guess you're not going to like this then, Barna, but I'm afraid you're wrong. Tampa Blue did not "resurrect this thread immediately after the Plymouth game". I resurrected it 24 hours after the Plymouth game, because I found an interesting article about Barry Corr's return in the paper. You ignored that completely and added five posts about neg rep and defending your previous comments about Corr before Tampa Blue added one single post yesterday. The one post you did add which had anything to do with my post showed you hadn't even bothered to read it!

Nobody likes to be proved wrong.

Given the rate at which you churn out erroneous nonsense, I think you actually might.

I can't for the life of me understand why anybody wouldn't want a fit and able Barry Corr in the side, particularly given the quality of Hurst's delivery and Clohessy's diagonal balls. It's the equivalent of turning down a Ferrari in the hope of somebody else coming along with a Lamborghini.
