Not saying they would have changed the game but seems to me this was a game to get minutes into those slightly behind ie Taylor, Waldron and look at trialists

Well considering GSM, Cardwell, Cav etc didn’t get any minutes today, you would think it’ll be a full strength Xi for the last friendly game before the season starts

Honest question, if tonight's result is embarrassing, what would a defeat have been? A season defining result perhaps? It's all about keeping it in proportion, if a couple of those misses had gone in a different view point gets taken, they didn't so doom and gloom hovers over the emerald Isle. Kev has clearly stated he needs to bring in the 'right' players because we are light in certain areas. It's all about trying to be the best we can come August 10th and I believe the work will be done on and off the pitch between now and then in an effort to achieve that.
