I think they are better than that but our lack of goals in pre season is a concern especially as we havnt played anyone of note other than Gillingham. All I keep seeing from Chris Phillips is headed over the bar, shot over the bar, shot wide etc. we’ve created chances but not finished them

Our finishing has been quite simply abysmal. That remains the main concern. Jack Wood could have had four.

No not really, I like to think it’s two club’s trying to build a good relationship with maybe perks for both sides, fitness and bonding is the main factor.

At least we're creating chances. This highlights the finishing weakness that we've had for a few seasons. A finishing coach might be welcome in the future if we can afford one. Too many shots are high or wide.

Why are people concerned? Players are simply trying to get themselves fit for the season. Dan Mooney looked a million dollars in preseason and never did a thing after. Performances/results should be taken with a pinch of salt.
