Born in Rochford Hospital then brought up in Thundersley and Benfleet. When I first left home I set up home in Old Southend Road off York Road before moving to Bournemouth. Ended up in Exmouth, Exeter, Plymouth then Exeter again running pubs before returning to Essex. Had a short stay in Mildenhall then back home to sunny Southend. Finally sorted myself out and settled back in Benfleet before moving to Fobbing about 4 years ago.

Always lived in Essex [well as long as you don't count the year at uni and the day we moved from hornchurch]
Born Oldchurch hospital Romford (before it was London borough of havering) .Lived in Hornchurch until 2nd April 1965 when we moved to Billericay. This was the very day that the expansion of the glc to place so I suppose I lived in London for about 9 hours.
Dad took me to my first Shrimpers game in 1967
1982 I married and moved to Napier Ave. 3 years there,10 in Shoebury and the last 13 in Thorpe bay. Both my kids were born in Rochford.
Iam the only one in my immediate family who is\still in essex and tbh I expect to retire here too

One more who entered this world through the maternity ward at Rochford!

Spent 12months or so living in a flat in Westcliff (Electric Avenue I believe); moved to Pitsea for 18months, then Vange until I was 34 (apart from a 9 month adventure in Geordieland in the 80s).

In 92 we moved to sunny Suffolk (just outside Bury St Edmunds) which means a 160mile roundtrip for home matches.

Working in NW London now which makes for some interesting journeys to mid-week games (thanks to James for helping me get home afterwards).

Born in Rochford Hospital, lived in C********r Road, just a few yards from Roots Hall before moving to Eastwood. Have lived in East and South London, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary and a few other places in between. Now back in Leigh-on-sea.

Born in Eastwood and lived there until I got married in 1982 and moved to Southchurch.

Moved to Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, 22 years ago. Currently a season ticket holder in East Blue.

And do I just love the 160 mile round trip for the evening games (especially the last time we tried to play Scunthorpe!). :nope:

I was born in Wakefield,West Yorks. Moved down when I was almost 2 years old. Since Wakefield is the only City in England not to have a football team in any of the 4 divisions (I think!), my allegiances lie totally with Southend.

I am rochford born so yep southend born and breed and still here. When i was oz if the aussies knew all about essex lads and lasses. I met one guy and he was from maldon so i told him you aint proper essex then.

I was born in Basildon in 1979, lived in Pitsea until 1992, and then moved to the relative delights of Canvey Island.

I left Canvey in 1998 to go to University in Leicester, and I'm still here.

I have never been back to Canvey after I moved away, and only spent time in Southend at Roots Hall!

Thundersley is a great place to live! After being born at Rochford Hopsital I lived in Thundersley and have still to this day of nearly 24 years.

For any potential stalkers, here's a picture of her house.
