A gloating Wolves fan

Have wolves got a game in or near london on a day we aren't playing? It would be great if a few of us went along to see him one last time. His final game was against Plymouth and not all that many of us made the very long trip. I want o see him as group of us, one last time.

Grays on a week Satuday, away. I don't know if we're playing though.

i might head up to layer road for the wolves game... that would be fun!

Me to. I'd love to go and see Eastwood play one more time. :)

Watch him for wolves at roots hall in the 08/09 season then.

Wolves are unlikely to go anywhere fast, and I do wonder how Fred might settle away home life and plays on confidence influenced by life inside and outside football.

Charlton would have been the better move, but good luck Freddie, in the week or so the Wanderers have lost their past hero derek dougan maybe they have got themselves a new one. I hope so.......ignore the Wolves nerds that come and post on this board spouting rubbish, evey club sadly has them, we just wish Freddie the best of luck for the future, and say thanks for the memories.

Very tempting, although you'd have to sit in the Ewes end most likely, as Wolves' demand for tickets will surely exceed the supply.

i could hack that...
just as long as i don't wear my favourite t-shirt

i think that says it all... if you are from another club (especially one who is looking to sign arguably our best ever striker) and you start posting on this board then you are going to be met with a lukewarm reception... just as i would expect to receive if i started posting on your board. to be honest i think some of the wolves fans have been made to feel welcome and we have had some good discussion as well as a bit of banter.

i think that most of the people on this board would have preferred fred to have gone to charlton because it is common knowledge that pardew has been a fan of his for years and with charlton being much closer then it is probably more likely that fred would settle down and be able to commute.

i don't begrudge him going to wolves, i think mccarthy is an average manager but has got some good players in and fred definitely needs that step up before getting into the prem (of which im sure he could make an impact with the right team).

to be honest i wish you boys all the best next season and to give fred a good chance... he finished the season pretty poorly (well was injured) and so may take a bit of time toget up to speed).

This post sums it up for me... a few Wolves fans have come on and been genuinely interested in Freddy and how we'll cope without him (Wolf1 springs to mind) and they have, on the whole, been welcomed.. but i'm pretty certain that if our fans had gone on a Wolves site they would've been greeted with stuff like "Little Southend" and "who are you exactly" et al. There was no need at all for this joker to come on here and give it the biggun cos they've 'stolen' our one true star.

So to you sir ... jog on !!! to the other Wolves fans lurking that have been more gracious, good luck for the season and take care of Freddy for us
