Noticed Jordy Hiwula is out of contract with Huddersfield in July. Always scored at our level whilst on loan including 4 in 11 at Fleetwood this term. Still young at 23 and probably not cost the earth and with SCP being ex Huddersfield - who knows

Good spot. We were linked with him back in January and CP signed him for Huddersfield. Don't think he's a target man though, which is what we need.

and that means? Did you see Theo’s goal record for Lincoln in the national lge?

I've seen his goal record under CP. I've seen him playing with a bit more freedom and confidence recently, all of which carries more weight for me than the older stats you allude to. Whilst I'm not convinced by Theo as a starter, the notion of signing Akinde convinces me even less. Go back a couple of seasons and I'd be more excited by the concept.

Zak Ansah just finished the season scoring 20 goals in 19 appearances for Hythe Town. Would be a cheap roll of the dice as a young backup striker with plenty of room for improvement in the years to come?

He is 24 and those goals are at a level one below that of Billericay

The last one of that age we got from that level was Nark Salter (86 goals in 140 games) and he really shone !!

Good to see CP is not wasting any time in trimming those he cannot see as part of the team in the future. We wish all of them (and those who have yet to be released) the very best for the future. Thank you for being part of SUFC.
But now we build on what was a very good finish to the season. A few blips but generally a solid set of results, which if worked backwards from the start of the season would have seen us in the play-offs. Let's see who Chris brings in. I'm sure he has a wish list for Ron.

Hopefully most of the current squad. I'd even hire a minibus and drive them over there.

You could hire the same bus as Northampton and Bury used to clear their squads with. The firm do a really good deal for football clubs as Port Vale used it the summer before.

need centre midfielders now wright and worsdworth have gone, we need cover out wide aswell with mglash going, we could stil have cox maf robinson and wabo next season so prob only need one more striker?
