Being reported that there will be no Queen's Speech next year and whatever is in this year's will last 2 years.
Because Cameron's fixed term policy stipulates that a no confidence vote needs 2/3 of MPs, this means the only opportunity to get rid of May is at the vote on the forthcoming Queen's Speech or by her own party calling on her to resign.
She is very aware that her popularity has plummeted, that linking up with the DUP is very unpopular, and that the manifesto that was presented to the public is largely not going to feature in the Queen's Speech.
Removing any effective yearly right to validate her position is an abuse of democracy.
She knows many are predicting her days are numbered so she is using any tool available to dig in.
