As you have been told before, I don't think that was quite why you got the ban. There are plenty on here who "slag off" the club and Brown. I think it was rather more the way you went about things, which was explained to you by moderators and yet, here you are still moaning about it!

It's almost certainly Dominic Ball of Tottenham who was on loan at Rangers last season, I read an article a couple of days ago that mentioned Spurs were looking to sell him and that Rangers had expressed some interest.

Would be a solid signing.

Can imagine PB liking the look of Dominic Ball- played almost as many times in a defensive midfield role as CB last season (with a small squad and with no-one else who is a natural DM could look very attractive).

NI international up to and including the U21s so don't know if Thompson knows him pretty well?

Not sure how realistic of a target Ball is. Rangers are rumoured to want him on a permanent basis and Leeds want him on loan. Can't see us being able to compete with either of those clubs.

They wanted somewhere between £100,000 and £150,000. The main problem was Spurs wanted a 40% sell on fee.

That is a big sell on fee I agree, however it should not be used as a reason that we did not sign him.

He was not developed by us and I am sure if we were able to place such a clause on a player we sell We would do exactly the same. Spurs have done very well to negotiate that.

He would of been an excellent signing by all accounts, however I doubt we were in serious contention in signing him to be honest.

Would Spurs offer us 40% if the deal was the other way round.

The maths don't work well. If we paid £100,000 and sold him for £200,000 then we would have to give Spurs £80,000. so after expenses we would hardly make anything on a player who has doubled in value.

The big boys have £8billion of sky money coming their way in the next three years and they still want to take the P***

Do Spurs still have a store in Southend......Save me taking those old bricks down the tip.
