“I’m talking to two clubs about signing a centre-back on loan from them,” confirmed Brown.
“One is with a Premier League club and one plays in the Championship.

Not sure if his name has already been mentioned before, but i'm wondering if it's Alex Davey of Chelsea?. They have loaned him out before to Scunthorpe and was at Peterborough last season.

He was also on trial this pre season with Sheffield United, but has recently been released, so currently without a club.

Wouldn't be a bad loan signing IMO, Scottish U19 international, 21 years old and at 6ft 3ins, might be able to take the sting out of any arial threat from crosses & set pieces etc.

Surely if he is a free agent Brown isn't talking about him
 
I didn't say he was a free agent, my understanding is that he is on Chelsea's book, but they seem keen on loaning him out to develop his performance. They also sent him out on loan to Norweigian side Stabaek during our pre season for a few games.

If it is Adam King, he is a product of Hearts youth set up and nominated by STV sport ( Scot Tv ) as one of the best 14 young players to watch in2014 . Regular member of the Hearts squad, although few opportunities to play. Did however play against Celtic and was viewed as the man if rather match against Wolfsburg, where he also dribbled Jack payneesq half the pitch to score.. Snapped up by Swansea for 6 figure sum.
represented Scotland at u 18, u19 and under 21 level. Can also play at right back and centre back. Strong defensive capabilities as well as attacking, starred at centre back for Hearts development squad. Strong lad, 5.11.. As stated 24 appearances on loan to Crewe last year scoring 4 goals.
Here is what his coaches said of him. Good on the ball, he's strong, physical and intelligent,confident and calm, lots of composure and creativity in midfield, ahead of his years, works hard. Classy playmaker. Some fans see him as actually better behind two front midfielders

With all due respect if he's that special he wouldn't be coming to us. 4 in 24 isn't a bad record from midfield so he could prove useful but I'm not gonna get overly excited til I see him play.

yep, you never can really tell, I thought Binnon Williams was going to be really special!
 
We are interested in a CB who is currently at a London PL club. Possible permanent but will have to pay a fee.
 
One could say, the transfer situation is fluid! :smile: Let's hope it doesn't slip through our hands! :winking:
