Looking below the 15 goals mark. One the stands out is Ben Williamson of Cambridge and I know his parents live locally. Would want to pass on him though seeing Port Vale and Gills fans comments.

I don't particularly rate Williamson, i'd also say it's a bit of a stretch to call his goal scoring record last year "superb", but the local connection is there so it's not incomprehensible.

Don't think it can be Reuben Reid, as Brown has said today that the striker he is speaking to had a superb record last season, but Reid only scored 7 goals, so it can't see it being him.

Brown said hunt had a good record! Check the stats, games played over the years.... Oh I got a ban for that, slagging the club and Brown and The Roslin..

It's might be Dan Holman (who is in L2 now!....a slight twist) joint top scorer last term 30 goals.... Out of our price range now :winking:

An, albeit unreliable, twitter source has stated we are looking to sign Sulley Kaikai on loan from Palace. If were true, that'd be a great signing!

I think it's fair to say that we really don't know about all 5 .................

Agreed - I said I agree. Fact. End of. Multiple bell-ends as well.

The only fly in the ointment is the non-HP sauce .............

Got to say I'm getting rather more optimistic.
1 more loan defender , couple of midfielders 1 loan and one potentially payed for along with the potential of an extra striker. It's obviously dependant on who it is but I actually think if these deals go through the squads looking good. If someone had said we'd sign Cox and Ranger a year ago I would've bit your hand off. Added to that someone who apparently scored a lot of goals all be it in league 2 last year. Got my fingers crossed for this week , come on Southend!

Yes, by knowing about three, I really should have said, knowing 'details' about them i.e. League Two striker, Swansea player, premiership midfielder. Starting to wonder whether this is all a gigantic smoke screen to involve and confuse us, when we should be on here complaining; we are a few days from the new season, we have a WAFER thin squad and up to this moment we've signed no one! :winking:

Here you are Yogi - plenty of complaining .............

complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining
complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining
complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining
complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining
complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining

............ and that's enough of that nonsense ...........

You can't take my pessimism away from me. I came upstairs for tea and to find out who'd we signed. Now I find that all I'll have with my tea is .....................biscuits. Perhaps that should be 'cynicism' rather than pessimism?

One in by Saturday, possibly two according to Phil Brown.

Looking at his scoring record at Shrewslast season , he would be BLOODY good! 12 goals in 26 appearances as a winger...........SIGN HIM UP!

A Swans supporting friend reckons Adam King on loan.

I've just done a bit of homework and I'm 99% sure it's Adam King and 1% sure it's Jay Fulton.

King cost about £200k, it described as an attacking midfielder and scored 4 from 24 for a poor Crewe side last season. All sings point towards him and I think it would be a very good signing.

Let's hope he is on the same hymn sheet come Saturday then .........
